#thepitt i think the geriatrics suggestion can be seen both as al hashimi trying to help mohan because she just saw her work very well with an elderly patient AND as another example of mohan’s mentors not truly understanding her.

she is empathetic and cares for her patients, and cares about reducing inequity in the ER. al hashimi sees that, but doesn’t see the other side of her. the only people who have fully seen mohan are abbot (pigtail catheter, ubers meds) and mel (stroke patient from season 1)
