महाराष्ट्र लोकसेवा आयोगाच्या वतीने घेण्यात येणाऱ्या अराजपत्रित संयुक्त पूर्व परीक्षा २०२५ अंतर्गत पोलिस उपनिरीक्षक पदाच्या परीक्षेसाठी दि. २९ जुलै, २०२५ रोजी जाहिर���त प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आली असून त्यासाठी परीक्षार्थींची वयोमर्यादा ग्राह्य धरण्यासाठी दि. ०१ नोव्हेंबर, २०२५ ही तारीख निश्चित करण्यात आली आहे. सदर जाहिरात नियमित प्रघाताप्रमाणे अपेक्षित वेळेच्या ७ महिने उशिरा प्रसिद्ध झाली असून, वयोमर्यादा ग्राह्य धरण्यास दिलेल्या तारखेमुळे सदर परीक्षेस अनेक परीक्षार्थी वयोमर्यादा ओलांडल्याने अपात्र ठरत आहेत.

यापूर्वी मागील वर्षी अशाच स्वरूपाची जाहिरात उशिरा प्रसिद्ध झाल्याने राज्य शासनाने स्वतंत्र शासन निर्णय निर्गमित करून उमेदवारांना एक वर्षाची सवलत प्रदान केली होती. तसेच याच वर्षीच्या पोलिस शिपाई भरतीमध्ये सुद्धा वय सवलत देण्यात आली होती.

ही पार्श्वभूमी लक्षात घेऊन अराजपत्रित संयुक्त पूर्व परीक्षा २०२५ अंतर्गत पोलिस उपनिरीक्षक पदासाठी इच्छुक परीक्षार्थींना एक वर्ष वयाची सवलत देण्यात यावी किंवा त्यानुसार वयोमर्यादा ग्राह्य धरण्याच्या तारखेत बदल करण्यात यावा, अशी विनंती राज्याचे मुख्यमंत्री ना. श्री. देवेंद्र भाऊ फडणवीस यांना पत्राद्वारे केली आहे.
