"Islamabad, through sustained engagement, cautious diplomacy, and communication channels with all parties created the space needed for a meaningful and result oriented dialogue, by acting as a bridge between the two adversaries and helped avert a wider regional war."

Protests continue till today and JAAC followers are gathering in Rawalakot to continue their march towards Muzaffarabad. Even if march reaches Muzaffarabad and even if they succeed in their designs to occupy assembly and other govt buildings, still refugee seats cannot be abolished without an amendment from assembly. They have failed to understand that it's a constitutional matter and it cannot be resolved on the roads. Only viable, civilized, non-violent and democratic solution is that JAAC contests the elections, get the 2/3 mandate, sit in the assembly and get the amendment done. Any other solutions, if attempted, shall be against the democratic norms.
…………
no one really talks about how strange it feels to watch your own potential sit there untouched while you're just trying to get through the day. like you know what you could be doing, you can see it clearly in your head, but somehow your mind and situation just don't meet you there. and the gap between "who you are" and "who you could've been" starts to feel louder than anything else. and people don't see that part. they just see what didn't happen, what wasn't finished, what you "gave up on." but they don't see how heavy it felt just to keep going normally, let alone chase anything more. so you end up grieving a version of yourself that isn't gone because you failed... but because you've been trying to make it through.

“The US built the rules-based world order after WWII — and now it's the one dismantling it. Trump's obsession with Greenland may trigger a nuclear domino effect no one is ready for”.

“Remarks of Director National Intelligence on Pakistan’s alleged development of ICBM are baseless and perhaps motivated by personal biases. Such remarks do not bode well for bilateral relations. Islamabad, neither has the intention, nor financial capacity, nor strategic need for longer range weapons.”

🎥🎥The SVI Dispatch Ep # 01
"India's ICBM Ambitions: Agni-VI & the Global Threat"
In the inaugural episode of The SVI Dispatch, Research Officer Akash Shah sits down with Dr. Naeem Salik, Executive Director of the Strategic Vision Institute (SVI), to unpack India's growing ICBM ambitions and what they mean for global strategic stability.
India's DRDO Chairman has signaled that the Agni-VI ICBM program is technically ready and awaiting only a government green light. But does India actually need an intercontinental ballistic missile? Dr. Salik answers the question and also explains the implications of India's ICBM ambitions for global strategic stability.

Remember the Island Donald Trump wanted to annex before he started bombing Iran? @shamil_saleh and I have dissected how President Trump's fixation with the Greenland could lead to more nuclear weapon states going forward. https://t.co/Llb1iTvqtb
This cost them about $1 trillion.
The truth is, you cannot build systems like this exclusively on the logic of profit. You cannot expect to break even in 20 or 30 years. Projects of this scale are built because the government decides they must exist to serve the people.
And this is a problem with systems that are strictly, or overwhelmingly, capitalist. If you leave every problem in your society to the spontaneity of the market, some challenges are so large and so unprofitable that you will never have sufficient incentive to solve them.
@farzanaalispark Ma’am I follow you for news because you’re a credible journalist. If I was interested in vague posts I’d have followed reach-farming vague posters. This is something I’ve been noticing for a while please consider it.

@rameenwhile For me it started with Drive to Survive during COVID. The idea behind the show was to make the sport popular in the US for obvious financial reasons, but I think it has expanded the fan base to other continents as well where English is understood.
🌍 SVI Analysis |
"As per publically available documents and statements, Pakistan continues to have a recessed deterrence posture. However, given the developments on the eastern front, it is rather becoming an imperative to shift from the recessed posture. If the past two conflicts between India and Pakistan serve as a template, it is reasonable to assume that the risk of a nuclear escalation is compounded with the change in the Indian nuclear posture."

Many of you know I had surgery yesterday. The first video I saw when I picked up my phone was of this young man who was kidnapped and tortured by Israel until he lost his sight. He hasn’t been able to receive any treatment.
I had a retinal detachment and got surgery within hours.
I’ve never felt so disgustingly privileged. Please share this so Mahmoud can get treatment and not lose hope.
Having lived in a hostel for almost 3 years with 90% CSS aspirants occupancy and having interacted with the candidates, all of them wanted to join the service for all the wrong (or right, realistically speaking) reasons. So this is not surprising for me at all.
