"১৮ জুলাই অন্য ছাত্রদের সঙ্গে সে-ও সাইনবোর্ড এলাকায় যায়। হঠাৎ বৃষ্টির মতো ছররাগুলি ছুড়তে থাকে পুলিশ। একপর্যায়ে গুলিবিদ্ধ হয়ে রাস্তায় লুটিয়ে পড়ে। সঙ্গে থাকা অন্য আন্দোলনকারীরা তাকে উদ্ধার করে সাইনবোর্ডের একটি প্রাইভেট হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে। ওই হাসপাতালে ছাত্রলীগের ক্যাডারদের তোপের মুখে চিকিৎসা নিতে পারেনি ফয়েজ আলমসহ অন্য আহতরা। অবশেষে দূরসম্পর্কের মামার সানারপাড়ের বাসায় টানা ১৮ দিন চিকিৎসা নেয়"

পরবর্তীতে ২৪ জানুয়ারি ২০২৫ ফয়েজ সহ আরো ৬ জনকে উন্নত চিকিৎসার জন্যে পাঠানো হয় সিঙ্গাপুরে, ফয়েজের মুখ থেকেই শুনুন তাঁর বিদেশে চিকিৎসার অভিজ্ঞতা।

Shibli Rubayat is still facilitating Salman F. Rahman to siphon off cash (through lifting the floor price of Beximco shares) for money laundering and creating anarchy. This should be stopped on an urgent basis.

1. He issued a circular dated 8th August 2024 instructing the lifting of the "floor price" from the shares of Beximco Ltd., effective from Sunday, 11th August 2024. Although he didn't attend the office on Thursday, he issued it on Friday from home. As per newspaper reports, he has returned his government-provided vehicle to BSEC and didn't show up until the fall of the autocrat. The circular appeared on social media on Friday. This is totally illegal, as there was no BSEC commission meeting on Thursday.

2. It's clearly a move to make the shares tradable in the market so that they (Salman and all his benami account holders) can sell the Beximco shares gradually, even at a lower price if necessary. They want to release their "cash" stuck in those shares, amounting to at least a few hundred crores, if not thousands of crores.

3. On the other hand, thousands of retail traders will be sore losers if the floor price of Beximco is lifted. How? The Beximco floor is set at Tk. 115.60, but it was traded around Tk. 25 just a few years back. Thus, people will lose huge amounts of money if the floor price is lifted due to the rapid downfall of this share's price, which will also cause the DSE INDEX to fall. This will result in unrest. To mention - Shibli facilitated Salman in the last four years through manipulation and drove up the Beximco shares to as high as Tk. 180. Then the market downfall started in July 2022, and the floor price was imposed to protect the downward fall of the DSE index. As the market is significantly rising (already rose 700 points after new independence due to huge optimism), the country should not create a chance for agitation through the fall of the DSE INDEX due to the sale of these rotten shares.

4. Salman and company have hundreds of নামি/বেনামী accounts in all merchant banks and under brokerages. The BSEC or Government/Finance Ministry MUST ISSUE A CIRCULAR BY TODAY (SATURDAY) to confiscate all (নামি/বেনামী) accounts of EVERYONE RELATED TO THE FALLEN DICTATOR REGIME. THIS IS A MUST BY TODAY. The Bangladesh Bank MUST ISSUE A SIMILAR CIRCULAR TOO BY TODAY.

5. Not only Beximco Ltd. shares but also shares of Darbesh's companies - Beximco Pharma, Shinepukur Ceramics, IFIC Bank - all these shares MUST BE UNDER FLOOR PRICE RESTRICTION so that no trade can happen and STUCK CASH CANNOT BE LIQUIDATED. OBVIOUSLY, this cash will be used for creating anarchy and regrouping their agents or will be laundered abroad.

6. We all know Darbesh has billions of Taka in loans from many commercial banks. If he can take away the money through share selling, those bank loans will never get repaid. These must be CONFISCATED. The circular must be issued by today to prevent this money laundering.

7. Though Salman has fled, his crony manager Mostofa Zamanul Bahar (known as Zaman Bhai) actually manages all of Salman's naame/bename accounts in the stock market.

8. Shibli and all his commissioners appointed by the fallen dictator must resign by 11th August 2024 before the stock market opens tomorrow.
