The result? As you can see in the graph, our daily ops dropped from 6K+ back down to comfortable sub-2K levels.
The biggest lesson: Throwing better hardware or higher tiers at unoptimized code only delays the inevitable. Fix the architecture first. #BuildInPublic #Nextjs #Prisma

Mid-July, my platform's DB ops suddenly hit 5k–6k/day. 🚨
At that rate, I was about to exceed @prisma's 100k free tier before month-end.
Instead of upgrading, I spent a weekend optimizing PostgreSQL queries.
The result? Daily DB ops dropped by 60%+.

Just noticed that create-next-app now creates AGENTS.md and CLAUDE.md by default.
We've officially entered the era where scaffolding a project also scaffolds instructions for AI agents.
Next.js is preparing the codebase for both humans and AI.
