@thebookviking @CJVogel_OTF They’re trying to play someone who admitted to betting on his own team. Tech could elect not to play him. The rest of college football disagrees with this decision as it violates a universal rule in all of sports- Don’t bet on your own team.

Inviting Tech eliminates so many of the challenges of a Super Conference formation. By dying on the Sorsby sword, Tech is pissing off people they need for an invite

@AriWasserman The committee looks at losses first and uses good wins as a tie breaker for similarly tiered teams. Also, the Texas/ASU series was cancelled because it’s in 7 years. Both teams want flexibility in future scheduling because CFP will be changed by then.
