An unfortunate slip of the pen. Who among us hasn't written "Jewish cockroaches" when we meant to refer to how happy we are to live in a country alongside our fellow Jews?
So easily done.
An Israeli former hostage has revealed the horrific details of her abuse whilst she was held in Gaza by Hamas terrorists.
Arbel Yehoud was held in Gaza for 482 days, where she was subjected to sexual assault and violence “almost every single day in captivity”. She released further details of the abuse, which included starvation, physical violence and being held in solitary confinement — experiences which led her to try and take her own life on three separate occasions.
She was freed in January 2025 and spent the year campaigning until her boyfriend, Ariel, who was also kidnapped on 7th October, was eventually released after being held hostage for 738 days. The pair are still readjusting to life after their harrowing ordeals.
The barbaric sexual violence carried out by Hamas terrorists ought to be condemned by everyone, and yet, it isn’t.
Staggeringly, there are still those who either deny Hamas’ atrocities or sickeningly attempt to justify them as “resistance”.
When survivors of unspeakable atrocities share their stories, we all have a duty to listen. Their testimonies must not be ignored.

Larry the Cat will have been in Downing Street 15 years next week, he is the most stable thing about British politics these days @Number10cat@petercardwell
@zarahsultana Finally, you are writing about a real genocide that took place. It's just a shame no-one believes that you are even a tiny bit sincere about it.

Two years ago, Hamas falsely claimed Israel bombed a hospital—“500 killed.”
It was a Palestinian rocket, hit a parking lot, and fewer than 20 died.
The media ran with it anyway.
Today: 2,000+ Iranians murdered, on video—Silence.
@johncusack And what about the 50+ Muslim and Arab states that could offer refuge, but don't?
BTW, top tip, pitching a tent on a beach by the waters edge is never a good idea.
Jesus was Jewish.
He was born in Bethlehem, in Judea. His parents were Jewish. He was circumcised on the eighth day, followed Jewish law, prayed in synagogues, taught Torah, and celebrated the Jewish holidays.
He didn’t just happen to be Jewish, He lived as a Jew, and He died as one too. The sign above His head on the cross said “King of the Jews.” History matters.
@HowidyHamza The adults and other children are well wrapped up, what parent keeps themselves warm but not their baby? BTW, just how small is the baby in the bottom photo, looks the size of a preterm (if actually real).
@jeremycorbyn They can choose to eat any time they want. However, the police officer whose back they broke can't choose to be taken off restricted duties, due to the injury they inflicted on her, any time she wants.
Thank goodness for new storylines for Connie and Trevor in the Argos ads. The #Corrie storylines are diabolical.
Becky 'in hiding' in plain site. Adult abuse with Todd/Theo and Carl/Debbie. Child abuse with Will/Megan #Corrie

“Stand with your Jewish friends and colleagues against hatred. Say that what’s happening in our campuses and schools is unacceptable. Say anything in solidarity with the Jewish community.”
@BBCLondonNews Didn't take long to find this.... "On December 6th, Saint Nicholas Day recognizes the third-century saint who became an inspiration for the modern-day Santa Claus". For goodness sake, just call it "Christmas fun" 🤦🏻♀️
In Sudan, Arab Islamist gangs are kidnapping and rounding up black Christian women and children for slavery. Over 3,000 have been killed in the last few days.
Where’s the UN? Where’s the Palestinian protest crowd? Where’s Greta, BLM, and the so-called human rights activists?!
