๐Happy to announce that Create Next Stack is now live over on https://t.co/f3UUTBOAQJ!
Create Next Stack is a website and CLI tool used to easily set up the boilerplate of new #nextjs apps.
Take it for a spin, and let me know what you think!
Had a lot of fun giving my talk about @QwikDev at @copenhagenjs last week.
If you didn't catch my talk and are interested in Qwik, you can check out my slides and some useful resources linked in the post below.
For much better content on Qwik, follow @mhevery and @builderio
Moved my personal site to @bunjavascript today.
Painless process. I replaced `pnpm` with `bun` and was good to go. @vercel even auto-detected bun.
๐ Very fun to see 8.6s install become 350ms
Looking forward to seeing better Windows and Node.js compatibility.
Thanks a lot to everybody who shared the tool, found it interesting, and especially those leaving kind comments. It has been a lot of work building, and I'm so happy to finally see others liking it too.
Yesterday, I suddenly saw my open-source project, Create Next Stack, had gotten a new wave of love from the community. I checked an online star history site and found the pretty picture you see below.

๐ @tannerlinsley's @tan_stack Query and @mantinedev are now available in Create Next Stack.
๐ Come try the easiest way to get up and running with @nextjs on https://t.co/f3UUTBOAQJ!

I don't usually pay attention to new JavaScript frameworks; I've used Next.js since 2018.
But what @builderio is doing with @QwikDev (and their other libs) has been keeping me up at night lately. Absolute genius! ๐ง
Can't wait for performance to become a first-class citizen! ๐
@mhevery@builderio@QwikDev Haha, took a while for me too. I honestly searched your name in my podcast app an listened to a handful. I think the livestream you did with @RyanCarniato probably stands out the most because you went into more detail and showed great examples.

After watching @FreyaHolmer's exceptional new video, The Continuity of Splines, I, too, longed for a spline that would pass through points with C2 continuity.
And, lo and behold, I managed to create one! Although with a bit of cheating... ๐ฌ
#Math#Mathematics#Geometry
Although a mathematically unsatisfactory solution to the problem, it does work surprisingly well. And the fitting algorithm seen in the videos is very primitive and can be improved significantly.
You can take a look at the code here:
