#WhyArchives Archives matter. Accountability, transparency, knowledge. Items from the site have been used in classrooms, books, interpretive signs. They provide context. Sometimes they remind us of what we've forgotten.

#Archive30 day 18 is #ArchiveBuilding When items are uploaded to the site, the software goes through them and adds all their search terms to make your searches faster. This is called indexing and it's what "builds" the site! Or at least the searchability of the site.
