hi everyone! as comeback is approaching i’d like to share an akmu guide carrd i’ve made for those who would like to get into akmu but don’t know where to start! it would mean the world if you could rt/use/share this resource! thank you! @official_akmu ♡ https://t.co/hkO3EKAHmE
@gushinggcld yes it has been! 😭 and she would’ve eaten up this track tooooo 🥲 but she’s only bg vocals which is kinda a thing taylor does with her female features for some reason (only phoebe bridgers has escaped this treatment)
seeing all sorts of goofy takes on midnights like no you will not convince me that this album is not one the best things she’s ever produced. the lyricism/storytelling is just as personal and powerful and the truth is you simply don’t get it and that’s a you problem. 🤷♀️
would’ve, could’ve, should’ve seems so mad woman coded; it’s the same sort of anger and betrayal just portrayed differently — this time under a cheery facade. and god does it work so well, this woman is a genius!
taylor swift and lee chanhyuk are really out there blessing us with amazing albums made up of songs with upbeat production but VERY depressing lyrics ugh truly 🌟songwriting prodigies🌟
dear reader is such a perfect end to an absolutely perfect album! she just lets her beautiful vocals and amazing story telling do the talking! it’s so slow yet groovy and everything just feels like it’s coming to a perfect end. miss taylor you are a star. <3
would’ve, could’ve, should’ve… i did not expect it to take that turn in the chorus and it’s SO PERFECT!!!! this woman’s vision is insane!!!! i am obsessed!!!!! she made this album for me!!!!!!
i feel like i need some time to really gather my thoughts about midnights because i just have SO much to say. this album is so deeply personal to taylor but i can’t tell you just how badly this tugged on my heartstrings, overlaying with things in my own life… just wow ❤️
