Literally none of us were calling for Hicks to be stood down from the CC final because of the death threat before he decided not to refer to VR. Had we won we would not have been questioning his appointment now. For our chairman to get involved in fan hysteria is embarrassing.

@delamere1lad No problems with moaning about the standard of refereeing, it is poor. However, questioning the integrity of a referee is completely wrong. As is calling a death threat, even one on Twitter, a “pathetic spat”.

Disgusted by McManus’ comments in the programme. Hicks is incompetent, rather than bent, which he’s gone 99% of the way to suggesting. He should stick to trying to find a good coach to replace Holbrook as his record over the past 10+ years isn’t all its cracked up to be.
