Forget who said this sort of thing originally, but it to my mind with regards to some typography work I'm reviewing.
Contrary to popular belief, form does not follow function. Form and function collaborate.
With regards to political rhetoric that we all get riled up over but don't do anything about, it's easier to light a match and watch it blow out than it is to start a bonfire and keep it going so it can been seen across mountain tops. Doing the right thing takes effort.
It's not a slippery slope to say that those men who wish to control women, once successful through enacting these barbaric laws, will attempt to further control other aspects of other people's lives. This man and others like him are coming for your rights next.
As a man, it baffles my mind to think other men can truly understand the plight of a pregnant woman. This isn't even empathy — this as a bald faced attempt at control. https://t.co/2X6J0GsrK1
*Finally* found somebody to help. Why is it so hard to have a single point of contact instead of being transferred around? One time I called in and they wanted *me* to file a claim... wait, what, why?!
And why do I have to keep repeating the tracking number? It's 2020, @Fedex.
@fedex a large set of packages was delivered to my apartment. I called the 800 number to help some poor guy get his stuff, but keep getting the run around. How do I go about having someone come and pick up all of these boxes off my front porch?
