The same people who will reply that “there’s nothing wrong with this. You don’t need people close to you. Be happy with what you have” will later respond that you’re a loser if you don’t have anyone close to you when you want to do something social.
Honestly, I didn’t even show it. I instead only said I was.
The moment that happened, things changed. I needed to be told I was wrong, I needed to be told I must be visibly depressing to others, and that everyone has problems and that “grass isn’t always greener”, etc.
@CartoonsHateHer I remember reading something a long time ago that says that people who capitalize certain words can denote mental illness.
Obviously not all the time, but think of people who go on rants and add significance to certain words as if they’re Great Thinkers of our Time.
“You just need to learn to enjoy your own company!”/“Someday you’ll find your people!”/“You just need to be the one to reach out all the time because I’m sure they’re just busy!” Yeah yeah yeah. Apparently it’s my fault for wanting to feel normal and feel like I belong.
The Tim Pool Surrounded isn't even entertaining in a "look at this dumb liar" way. He just constantly contradicts himself and clumsily agrees with people in ways that conflict with his argument. At one point somebody asks him point blank, "What is the point of this?" Spot on.
The audacity to think Canadian media is too left-wing when they're all endorsing Conservatives every single election and Postmedia has a literal monopoly over local newspapers
@CartoonsHateHer I was told as a young boy about how uncomfortable it is to dress well and how you shouldn’t care, that once I finally learned how to I got a lot more positive attention from women.
Also, as a man: it’s not hard. There’s a lot you can do, but even the basics help so, so much.
@dieworkwear (Couldn’t resist a pun). Seriously, I’ve noticed Ben loves those dark shirts and he always looks terrible in them. And what causes the massive fold under the shoulder? Is it the fit of the shoulder? Upper sleeve too tight? I know there’s some fold as you move your arm up, but….
@Chinchillazllla This has got me craving Dishoom’s breakfast. I bought their cookbook the last time I went but it’s been so long that I don’t know how mine compares.
A tool used to rephrase plagiarised text changed "final solution" to "mass killing of an ethnic group" in a chemistry paper. Now retracted thanks to a PubPeer user who spotted this.
