They are the beginning and the end of greatness. Full stop. History closed.

Then, why are we working so hard?

Why go to school, why train, why innovate, why dream, if the model has already been completed and sealed?

By that same logic:
Albert Einstein shouldn’t be considered greater than Isaac Newton, because Newton came earlier.
Marie Curie shouldn’t matter, because science already “started” before her.

Modern scientists who helped develop mRNA vaccines are irrelevant because someone once discovered penicillin.

You see how ridiculous that sounds?

Progress depends on surpassing yesterday.

Today must be better than yesterday.
and Greatness is cumulative, not hereditary.
Meaning that Foundations are not ceilings.
If the past was perfect, there would be no present.

Nobody is dissing Fela. Nobody is dragging Michael Jackson.
But turning respect into intellectual handcuffs is how societies stagnate.

If greatness had an expiry date, the world would have stopped evolving.
And if we truly believe no one can ever be greater, then let’s admit we’re not chasing excellence anymore.

We’re just recycling nostalgia.
