@Its_Vyxen Seeing cultural height differences is so strange sometimes.
I'm Scandinavian and the shortest girl in my class was 170cm.
Most were 5-15cm taller than that.
@ItsJohnDulak You don't have to come out with your book now. You can write a new book, and the one after that.
And then later, once you've better and have more track with other books, you can come back to this one again.
No one says your fist book written has to be the first one sold.
@chogahofa4529 Those are not neurotypical rules - they're specific cultural rules.
In the country I live in 'no thanks' just means no.
And you just say yes please if you want something.
@TheStarwald I love the first three Stormlight books, Oathbringer especially. I don't mind W&T as much as most people, even if I did not like it as much as the first three.
I loved Yumi and the Nightmare Painter though, so I'm glad some of his newer books are still to my tastes.
@BellaBaddie__ For me absolutely.
I find a lot of women's voices very attractive.
And also the more attracted I am to a woman, the more lovely her voice becomes to listen to.
@kauljade In practice, people will be slower than their theoretical top speed.
For instance, when reading for fun I usually take about a week to finish a book that I could theoretically have read in a day if I had needed to.
@kauljade The average reading speed is roughly 260 words per minute.
For an 80k book that is roughly 5 hours.
However that assumes:
- no breaks
- no savouring the text
- no rereading or looking up anything
- reading as fast as you can
- easy reading level text
- short 80k books only
@ElChandler Both options have value - generic terms make it easier to read, unique terms makes it more interesting.
Too many generic terms can get boring. And too many unique ones can get confusing.
Its a balancing act, and just depends on what you want to prioritise.
@axiochrono Oh, I live to break this ~
Economics, prices, salaries, calendar days, riding distances, national populations, military logistics, war casualties, unit conversions.
I am so here for that. It is so much fun to calculate, and it grounds the world so much better in reality.
