@RaviSha26337186@IncomeTaxIndia@nehanagarr You have to make the tax payments else interest will keep accruing every month. It was your duty to ensure your taxes where paid properly by your employer and should have raised the issue when the employer existed
@RaviSha26337186@IncomeTaxIndia@nehanagarr In your case the employer has absconded and shut the company.
Max you can do is file an FIR on the employer and the directors for unpaid money.
@RaviSha26337186@IncomeTaxIndia@nehanagarr Tax authorities aren’t harassing employees, they are doing their duty of tax collections .
Kingfisher case was different cause the company was bankrupt and liquidation was initiated through a court process … so there was an opportunity for IT and employee to get the dues
@RaviSha26337186@IncomeTaxIndia@nehanagarr No… it’s the employees duty to ask the employer to make good on the TDS…… now if the employer is untraceable, tax authorities can’t do much unless then initiate search and survey (unlikely unless a big tax fraud is identified)
@RaviSha26337186@IncomeTaxIndia@nehanagarr Any complaint through cpgrams is of utmost importance for the tax authorities and they are always under pressure to resolve them
@RaviSha26337186@IncomeTaxIndia@nehanagarr First you got to speak to your management buddy…. If they still don’t pay TDS…. You can raise a request a on cpgrams and get the employer penalised
