@jpsingaraju i think the crux of the model-agnostic part is making sure the regardless of the model, how do you allow each to ingest a global structure of data? how do you make it known to each model that there is some structure to context, for instance, that they are ingesting? very cool imo

Yesterday, I finished my @vercel internship!

What a blast the past 12 weeks has been:

- beat @rauchg at FIFA, but lost rematch lol
- worked cross functionally on v0, cli, marketplace, skills, and security
- presented at 5 company demo days
- caused and resolved a SEV 2 incident
- escape room’d, top golf’d, go kart’d, ramen make’d with the best intern cohort of all time
- shipped up until the minute I lost access

Also, it’s not often you get to see your work directly impact revenue. But none of that would’ve mattered without all the cool people I got to work with. Def learned a ton.

Above all — just ship it 🫡

one thing i struggle with nowadays is deciding "what to learn". if i want to go into inference, should i start off learning speculative decoding, disaggregated inference, should i read "designing data-intensive apps.", etc.

i think the "antidote" for this problem for me -- just do something. it will fall into place in the end, or so i hope.

@micahomnd but i also think there is some reward in just experimenting, and that is lost with the invention of ai. if you run into bottlenecks, slog your way out of them, 9/10 times, it’s more beneficial for your learning
