The RSS doesn't simply spread ideas. It builds the social machinery that reproduces the people who hold those ideas. Schools, local branches, cultural organizations, student groups, charities, neighbourhood networks—ideology is carried through institutions that outlive
The most misinformation is peddled by legacy media. Not by reels. And young people are much smarter and more informed than we give them credit for. They cut through the BS. This patronising approach needs to stop.
Brand Modi was built on tens of thousands of crores of corporate & public money.
What happened at Jantar Mantar
"amounted to a carnivalesque bonfire of Brand Modi."

Mohammad Irfan is the worker-intellectual of India.
He defies boundaries of labour and knowledge, of books and ice-selling, of literacy and illiteracy.
My column piece in The Indian Express @IndianExpress
This is one of my favourite pieces I wrote.

Every Indian historical drama is like “this based Hindu king bravely outsmarts a comically evil Muslim invader” and then some caste community you’ve never heard of will launch a hartal claiming that the movie amounts to genocide
This is absolutely fantastic price of work. While nobody had any doubt when a truck full of stones was found at the protest site, this just nails down the trail
It’s totally legitimate specially for targeted minorities to be skeptical of a movements direction, supposed leadership, tone setting and selective repercussions of police action and also be involved, have slivers of hope or celebrate small wins. Bas kardo yeh either/ or policing
The less discussed part of the protest groundswell is that almost every sector that could absorb the youth is essentially nuked. MSMEs never recovered from Demo+GST+Covid triple shock. AI is eating up techie jobs, which in turn affects other sectors. Govt jobs also in low supply.
To anyone who says “keep politics out of it or don’t politicise it”, everything MUST be politicised. Whether it’s exam leaks or women’s safety. These are issues we must hold our leaders accountable for. Everything IS political. Stop being timid and demand accountability. Stop both sidism. Stop whataboutary.
Rahul Gandhi was raising this issue long before CJP took birth.
So this question and answer itself lacks depth and comes from people who themselves were sleeping.
It was NSUI and IYC that first faced water cannons and lathis, long before CJP even sat down at Jantar Mantar.
Sometimes in late 2018 - 2019, Rahul Gandhi had asked a room full of volunteers, who they thought was the best spokesperson the Congress had.
The entire room, said @Pawankhera in unison.
Sitting besides RG, Surjewala ji, who himself is a classic spokesperson, was nodding in agreement.
To whoever it concerns, especially to AAP gang,
Paper leak issue didn’t start from NEET 2026 but it started from NEET 2024, UP RO-ARO paper leaks and many others.
It was Rahul Gandhi Ji who fought Loksabha 2024 on the issue of paper leaks in UP and Bihar.
