いずれにせよ神は時の権力と結託し、それゆえに時代によって次なる神へと交代し続けるのだ。
▶︎Does the era create gods, or do gods create the era? Did gods create humans, or did humans create gods?

レオナルド・ダ・ビンチが遺したUFO のスケッチ

▶︎最近、新たに発見されたレオナルド・ダ・ビンチの遺したUFO のスケッチ。当初、これは当時の戦闘兵器と思われていたのだが、超高速で空間移動する船だというメモ書きが発見されたのだ。しかもそれは遠方から来た不思議な格好をした者たちから見せられた絵や聞かされた話に基づいて描いたものだという追記もある。なのでこれは正確に言うと、ダ・ビンチの完全なる発明品とは言えないだろうが、彼の自筆であることは事実である。
▶︎They recently discovered sketches of a UFO left behind by Leonardo da Vinci. Initially, it was thought to be a weapon of warfare from that era, but they also found a note suggesting it was a ship capable of ultra-high-speed space travel. Furthermore, there's an additional note stating that da Vinci drew based on images shown by strangely dressed individuals from a distant place and stories they had told. Therefore, it may not be considered a complete invention of da Vinci, but it is a fact that da Vinci himself drew it.

超・恐すぎるヤバいヤツの一人
One of the super scary, dangerous guys

▶︎後悔してももう遅い。あのヤバいヤツがついに我家にやって来た。もともと私が作ったキャラだが（過去に投稿した「通せん坊２」に登場）、まさか私の所までやって来るとは想像だにしなかった。こんな深夜に何用か？　ただの文句を言いに来た程度のことならまだいいが、暴力沙汰は絶対に御免被りたいものだ。
そして実はもう一人、私が作ったヤバいキャラがいるのだが、どうやらそいつは一緒じゃないようだ。いずれにしても、私は怖くて扉を開けられない。今更、キャラ設定を変更しても遅すぎるのは言うまでもない。
▶︎Even if I regret it, it's already too late. That dangerous character has finally appeared at my place. He was a character I created (featured in ‘通せん坊 2' that I posted in the past), and I never imagined he'd come to my door. What could he want at such a late hour?
If it's just to vent some complaints, that's one thing, but I definitely want to avoid any violence.
And actually, I created another dangerous character, but it seems he is not here. Anyway, I'm too scared to open the door. Needless to say, it's too late to change the character's settings now.

Stairway to Heaven

▶︎天国への階段を昇るも、天国へたどり着く人間はほとんどいない。あまりにも長くて遠いので、途中、階段を踏み外して地上へ落下してしまうのだ。まあ、でも心配するな。地上へ落ちても地獄へ落ちるよりは、ほんの少しだけマシかもしれない。
▶︎Though one may ascend the stairway to heaven, very few reach paradise. The journey is so long and distant that many slip off the stairs and fall back to the ground. Well, don't worry too much. Even if you fail to the ground, it might be just a tad better than falling into hell.

▶︎千葉県銚子から北アメリカのサンフランシスコを結ぶ海底トンネル。全長約9000㎞。途中、ハワイへ分岐する路線も建設中。
▶︎This undersea tunnel connects Choshi, Chiba Prefecture, to San Francisco in North America. It has a total length of approximately 9,000 kilometers. A branch route leading to Hawaii is also under construction along the way.

▶︎日常的に起こる人災や軽微な天災はともかく、回避する手立てのない不可抗力で起きた出来事は、我々の与り知らないところで芽生えて制御不能に振る舞って、人間はそれをただ運命だと諦めて受け入れるしかないのである。やがて必ず到来する地球の終焉もしかりである。
▶︎Events caused by uncontrollable force majeure, beyond the daily occurrences of human-made disasters or minor natural disasters, sprout in places unknown to us and behave uncontrollably. Humans have no choice but to accept them as fate. The inevitable end of the Earth that will come one day is no different.

▶︎It's too late for regrets. I contacted my ex-girlfriend on a mere whim. Surprisingly, she arrived shortly after. However, I was astonished by her bizarre appearance. I wonder what has happened to her since then. Anyway, I'm too scared to open the door.

早く命名しなければ、その存在は人々から認識されることはない

▶︎物事には名前をつけてやらないと、その存在は危ういものとなり、場合によっては誰からも気づかれることもなく人々の記憶に残ることもない。ということは、そもそも存在してたかどうかも疑わしいのだ。つまり、なかったものと処理されている物事がこの世界には無数にあるはずだ。
▶︎If you don't give things a name, their existence becomes precarious, and in some cases, they may go unnoticed by anyone and leave no trace in people's memories. It means that there are likely countless things in this world that are questionable as to whether they ever existed in the first place.

▶︎思いは観念の世界でのみ成立し、言葉や文字に変換してこの世に表出せんとした途端、その真意は変容し誤解という副産物を生む。
▶︎Thoughts exist only in the realm of concepts. As soon as they are converted into words or text and manifested in this world, their true meaning transforms, giving birth to misunderstandings as a byproduct.
