What's crazy about Eileen Gu is her nerves of steel mentals.

Gets assaulted, robbed, cyberbullied, and then her grandma even died, yet she locked the fuck in.

Throughout the Olympics she had multiple falls.
One tiny mistake in any of the subsequent runs could have sent her home- and half of America, including the vice president, was cheering for her fall.
Yet, she locked the fuck in.

Not to mention she battled with her fear of "having peaked already at 18", existential depression, lack of practice, and being declared washed up at age 22.
But in the end, she still locked the fuck in.
