this dramatic and shocking video of chinook salmon trying to navigate the recent rock slide on the Fraser River should be of concern to all of us. If the larger chinook are having this much difficulty I am very concerned about the smaller sockeye which have yet to arrive in #s!

@NahlahAyed thanks for the story on Juno Beach and the Canadian war grave at Benny Sur Mer. A young First Nations man, Alec Alexis from Tl’azt’en Nation, is buried there. He is a family member and was one of may who volunteered in WWII despite not being considered a Canadian.
