In the Bible, the story of Jesus being led into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil is a profound narrative that underscores the intricate relationship between divine will and human experience.

It highlights the paradoxical nature of faith wherein, despite God’s omnipotence and benevolence, individuals often find themselves grappling with trials and tribulations, much like Jesus did in the desert. This narrative challenges the notion that God’s will is always aligned with comfort and ease, instead suggesting that adversity and testing are integral components of spiritual growth and understanding.

Hence, when people fervently pray for solutions to their challenges, they may inadvertently overlook the fact that the very trials they face could be part of God’s intricate plan for their personal development. Just as Jesus confronted his temptations in the wilderness, so too must individuals confront their own challenges, trusting that God’s presence and guidance are steadfast even in the midst of adversity.

Therefore, rather than solely seeking to pray away their difficulties, individuals are encouraged to embrace them as opportunities for spiritual refinement, recognizing that God has already equipped them with the strength and resilience to navigate life’s wildernesses.

As we have scientific laws that are exact and precise so we have exact spiritual principles which once applied, the results begin to show in the physical realm.

One of those laws is "Joy will always produce growth and growth stops when a person has allowed some situation, person or group of people to take their joy"

Wherever there is the spirit of joy, you will find increase. Protect your joy by constantly gazing into the evidence of the unseen as found in the Scriptures.

Get delivered through people from living to please people. Let your growth regardless of their attitude prove to you the weakness of the opinion and words of men when God didn't send them on any errand towards you.

What is "alive" within the consciousness of a person determines their reality. We have seen how the lack of bread in the boat caused the disciples to think and interprete Christ's sermon on the "leaven of the Pharisees" to mean Jesus was si affected by the lack of bread that it influenced his preaching that day.

The word "leaven" was the trigger to them connecting the dots.

This is how today many of us are connecting non existent dots. We make the world fit into our own perspectives, this is why people fail. A disconnect between what you believe and reality.

It's very easy to connect a serpent to evil however Jesus instructed his disciples to be "wise as a serpent" Did he mean practise evil? No. The word serpent has however been associated with evil hence the interpretation.

How will it sound to hear a leader tell his people "move out as serpents" they will be labelled demonic.

Challenge how you hear and see things. Be careful what you constantly affirm as true.

Build your life on the truth not on hearsay. Prove all things.

The reason why we don't understand why certain things happened to us is that we are focused on our personal comfort and convenience rather than purpose.

We spoke about the fact that great football teams show their winning ability in what they do when they don't have the ball and the opposition seems to be controlling the game.

The go into what is called defensive transition. What this means is the close down the spaces, their players are in close proximity to one another giving no space to the opposition.

For us, in times of tests and adversity, close ranks in your relationships. This is not the time to withdraw from family, Church or friends. Pray for everyone connected to to you and show more empathy and compassion. Let their be no "space" between you and God. Worship him, acknowledge his mercy and love for you and you thank him for his unfailing love.

Secondly, the team then goes into offensive transition. What this means is as they defend they are seeking for the opportunity to go on the counter and catch the opposition. Challenges present you with new opportunities. As you press closer into your relationship with God and men, look out for the big opportunity. Don't force anything, the opportunity will come.

Don't play the victim card seeking sympathy and miss God's timing. Keep your eyes wide open, you will go on the offensive shortly and by that win.

There is a law that governs the effectiveness of the words we speak. Words that will change things on the outside must come from a heart where the truth concerning the situation has been deposited in an abundant measure. Not just truth known by the speaker but must be in abundance in his or her heart.

The first time it's therefore spoken it gets deposited in the heart. Repetition, which really is meditation causes a continuous deposit until the heart is filled and overflowing then the word on your lips now starts working on the outside.

It must first take root downwards before it can bear fruit upwards.

Prov 18:20 says "A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall his heart be filled"

It then says in Matthew 12:33-36

"33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment."

Three things are essential to an individual fulfilling the purpose God designed them to.
1. You must have private disciplines. A daily solid routine that puts you in spiritual, mental and physical shape.
2. You must understand the place of providential relationships. There will be a few relationships God will establish in your life that are strategic. They don't neccesarily have to be with "powerful" people but those whom he has chosen. Lastly..
3. Pivotal circumstances that come first as some form of crisis which really is pregnant with opportunity.

If you understand these three and you cultivate a heart to serve humanity with your gift you are on your way to an adventurous life with God.

The secret is not in what happens but how you respond. Winners are those who come back right after a set-back.

This is the defining point of a true winner. Losers play the blame game instead of learning their lessons. They take "failure" personal, they get petty, absolving themselves and putting the blame on others.

Winners develop no animosity towards anyone, they quietly learn their lessons, they are in touch with life as it really is not how they would have wanted it to be. They stage a massive comeback free of offense but full of strategy and wisdom.

The desire to be accepted by all will derail you from your path. Even Jesus was called the Prince of Belzeebub when people didn't agree with him. Your goal should be to fulfil your destiny, learn to deal with rejection early, develop a thick skin so you don't spend all your life in fear following trends, being a people pleaser.

God takes us through paths to break us down so that he can lift us up. The breaking down process could come through betrayals,or disappointments which signals our dependence on people, through failure, which is reliance on self.

The purpose of this breaking down is to make us turn him as our only source and learn dependence on him.

He will in turn heal us of the pain we experienced and then do exceedingly abundantly above all they we thought and prayed once we rely solely on him.

He will choose the channels he will use, the people, our gifts or intellect in expressing the grace he supplies.

One thing humans can never dictate are the answers to the prayers you offer up to God. The Godhead cannot be controlled by mortals. He answers openly that which you pray in secret and he does it in ways that make it clear an invisible and invincible hand backs this person.
