@schadjoe What is “clear daylight”? I can assure you if you ask 100 people you will get at least 90 different opinions. The rule as it stands s now leaves no room for interpretation. And should be left as is. Still will be just as many or more reviews to determine if a player is offsides
@FPLOlympian In no other sport do they use GD, or point Differential depending on the sport, H2H should always be 1st tiebreaker. Was happy to see soccer finally join the party of sensible tiebreakers when they made change to H2H for the World Cup
@mulvihill79 That’s it? Those numbers I would think are terrible. Only 84.3 million over 2 weeks of games and 2-3 games a day? “Good” numbers should be twice that amount .
@TheDesertLynx@JamesWBlakey *in some areas. No general sales taxes in Anchorage, though the last few years they did pass a special local sales tax for alcohol. And some places that are not in the city limits of any town no sales taxes there either. Even if city limits of 2 towns a mile either side have them
@dspickett Well the people you’ve met must not be too smart. No one can explain without “ its just up to the ref” whether 5 minutes of extra time at end of match will end at 95 minutes 15 seconds or 20 seconds. What if they had “passage of play” for hockey- totally changes that game. Absurd
@JackSporz@GermainLussier But don’t they play a 2 extra 15 minute halves if tied after 90 minutes before the penalty kicks? why wait until then?for group stage, go straight to penalty kicks. And give 2 points for the win instead of 3 . Just because it’s “always been that way” isn’t an excuse.
@dspickett Again that is the “mystery time” that confuses casual fans and those who question the need for a clock when an official can stop 10 seconds early or late just because they feel like it. No other real sport with a clock is so open to interpretation.Tradition does not make it right
@benwright Right there with them. Silent protest. The “wave” is the worst thing to happen at sporting events . Should be banned at every park. I want to watch the game being played . Not become part of the show for tvs everywhere
@SMorrison_ A draft pick isn’t buying a 1M house not knowing where they will be living. The smart ones will be renting in the minors and MAYBE buy a small inexpensive house for the off season, until they get to the majors, or retire to their post baseball career. And why buy it in cash?
@rustonpierce@AmericanAir Crazy. I’ve been on 3 in the last 3 months and all 3 had it. Sounds like I never want to be on your flights. You must bring bad luck to WiFi .
@confusedanvi Read them as well. My dad also a couple times would give me and my siblings random facts or obscure landmarks about where we were going for vacation and we had to search in the encyclopedia to find out exactly where if we wanted to know before we left.
@tomjedrz@BJSymons True unfortunately. Maybe financial penalties. If he was placing bets for others on the team who still part of the program bigger issue. No credible evidence I’ve seen that is the case but it still needs to be investigated. The NCAA has lost its power so yeah nothing will happen
@tomjedrz@BJSymons It doesn’t matter what their record was when he was there, or even if he played. If IU knew about it they should be penalized. Not doing so opens a whole can of worms and no one wants to talk about it. Point A is valid, B is just making excuses
@RandyEBarnett Only time putting a bag in first class bins for coach passengers is acceptable is if you are the last 1-2 people on the flight, all first class already on board, and 0 space left in back of plane.
@deaflibertarian People who use #7 as you mention … I make fun of. Y’all is perfectly acceptable for all situations of groups of people. Saying All y’all is like saying you don’t know what y’all means. Don’t… just don’t put those 2 words together. Like Ever.
@SenWarren What is wealth? Besides cash/ investments- where does it stop? Paintings, jewelry, cars, property, any antique or collectible? Why should people be punished for hard work or for coming up with great ideas that makes life better for the overwhelming majority of others?
@DanClarkSports Baseball stats are overrated, growing up it was the 1 league that was stat central. Sure the bases are the same and pitchers mound to plate the same across MLB, but with the design of ballparks, fences being at drastic differences make stats unequal. Also what makes MLB great.
