@concretemilk@ruisranne Actually that is incorrect. If I point a toy gun that looks 100% real at your face (plenty of replicas almost impossible to tell they’re not real) and you pull out a real gun and shoot me, you are legally justified. I had no intent. Not even the ability to shoot you.

The only time avoidance comes into play is if there is a duty to retreat. Federal agents never have a duty to retreat
