@mikea@realjustinzero@reckless The OWC ThunderBay 4 at https://t.co/LG4Kn1D17p would be a good alternative to the AKiTiO Thunder3 Quad if you are looking for a 4-bay SATA enclosure. That model also has two TB3 ports and is compatible with both macOS and Windows.
@middlefeng Yes, the max is about 6cm. In our experience, anything above 2.5 slots is too much and the card likely doesn't fit into the enclosure or things like the heatsink or fan might touch the case.
Many people are wondering if their Thunderbolt 3 devices will work with Thunderbolt 4 equipped computers, or if this is just another crazy ploy to get everyone to purchase all new gear.
Here is your answer.

@A_MrBenMitchell@appleinsider In the UK, Megamac at https://t.co/PXvGKFXUgV appears to have some AKiTiO Node Titan units in stock but in most places, this model will be in stock again in about 2 months. At that time, https://t.co/whM4VA4H29 in Belgium would be another option.
@josephkayanlau The site is back online now and you can download the driver at https://t.co/ftzIJAkLJ5. If there are any issues with the download, please don't hesitate to let us know.
@PnwJon The Node Titan is slimmer and taller in comparison. Under load, the loudest part is usually the GPU itself. When idle, without seeing any dB numbers but based on temp-controlled fan, would expect Node Titan to be slightly louder.
@PnwJon The Node Titan was designed specifically for GPU cards, so it has only one port. To add more I/O ports, you would be looking at a separate dock (e.g. OWC Thunderbolt 3 Dock) that is connected to a different Thunderbolt 3 port on your MBP.
