The West poured $50 billion into fast breeder nuclear reactors and abandoned every single one. India poured $900 million and just achieved criticality on the first commercially viable one outside Russia.
The US spent $15 billion. Gave up. Japan spent $12 billion. Their Monju prototype had one sodium fire in 1995 and never recovered. The UK spent $8 billion. Germany spent $6 billion. France, Italy, all walked away. Six of the richest nations on Earth concluded this technology was too hard and too expensive to pursue.
India started building in 2004 with an initial budget of $420 million. Twenty-two years, a dozen missed deadlines, and a cost doubling later, the Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam just sustained a controlled fission chain reaction. The reactor is now alive.
The reason India never quit is a constraint most people have never thought about. India has only 1-2% of the world's uranium reserves. For a country of 1.4 billion people trying to build energy independence, that's a death sentence if you're running conventional nuclear.
But India has 25% of the world's thorium. The single largest national reserve on Earth.
The problem: you can't just burn thorium the way you burn uranium. A physicist named Homi Bhabha designed a three-stage nuclear program in the 1950s specifically to solve this. Stage 1: burn natural uranium in heavy water reactors, collect plutonium as a byproduct. Stage 2: feed that plutonium into fast breeder reactors, where it breeds MORE plutonium AND converts thorium into fissile uranium-233. Stage 3: burn thorium directly at scale.
India just entered Stage 2. Seventy years after Bhabha drew it up on paper.
The math on the thorium endgame is wild. At current energy consumption rates, India's thorium reserves could power the country for over 700 years. Most nuclear nations are playing a uranium game with maybe 80-100 years of runway. India is playing a completely different game with a 7x longer fuel supply.
The West quit because uranium stayed cheap and sodium coolant is terrifying. It catches fire on contact with air. It explodes on contact with water. Russia's BN-600 had 27 sodium leaks and 14 sodium fires between 1980 and 1997. And Russia kept going anyway because Russia doesn't quit nuclear projects. India watched all of that and kept going too.
When you have 1% of the uranium but 25% of the thorium, the engineering difficulty stops being a reason to quit. It becomes the price of admission to a 700-year energy supply that nobody else can access.

The older I get, the more I believe in the butterfly effect. If you hadnтАЩt made that one small decision on that exact day, your life could be completely different now
Everything happens for a reason and itтАЩs crazy how every choice we make affects our future
LetтАЩs meet
CADET KISHAN KULKARNI
141 NDA
India Squadron
who was boarded out from National Defence Academy, Pune in the 4th term due to medical reasons in 2020.
Though suffering lifelong crippling injury, his smile makes his single mother Smt Bharati Joshi sailing through these tough times of her life.
Smt Bharati Joshi has already left her government teaching job just to take care of Cadet Kishan as he is completely dependent upon her for all his daily activities.
Since Bharati is a single parent and Kishan
her only child, her one major concern is that who will take care of Kishan if something happens to her.
On a phone call she just asked me do we have any policy for such situations??
I myself donтАЩt know.
Can anyone let her know who will/can/has to take the responsibility of Cadet Kishan Kulkarni after her ??

I can make a forecast on how the US-Iran conflict will move forward.
- By April, Iran will agree to talk with the US. Trump will convene a board of peace and claim he brought "peace to Iran" by getting rid of their nukes, missile program, and radicals.
- Many from the same leadership now that is calling for US/Israel to be wiped out will be talking peace with the US. Because they are all in this show together. That's why they haven't been wiped out by the US/Israel.
- Israel will still continue to keep hitting Iran, like it does Lebanon under full patronage of its govt, to take out radical elements, any capabilities as they surface etc. New Iran govt will keep shouting but won't blame the US.
- ME countries will become safe again. Oil will start flowing. And by the end of year, oil price will fall drastically as US controls or has a say in most of world's oil, including Iran's. UAE will come out fine due to diversification of its economy. Saudi will have trouble.
- Economies and refining countries like India will benefit the most due to this glut of cheap oil by next year. China will face difficulties due to energy as Russia too will be selling to Europe limiting its oil access. Stock markets should likely soar if China/Pak do not cause India trouble. In fact they will start rising by this May itself as major conflict ends.
- But Pak/China will hate to see India gaining because of all this. Hence we may see attacks and conflict by next summer. If India decides to go for OpSindoor 2.0, it will be supported by Israel and backed by the US to keep China in check.
- If Pak/China do not create trouble for India, well and good. Next year will be even more amazing for India.
We now have evidence that gentle parenting doesnтАЩt work.
HereтАЩs an uncomfortable truth about parenting no one wants to say out loud:
The data is not kind to gentle parenting.
According to teenagers, strict curfews. strict bedtimes, screen limits, device drop off times, dedicated homework blocks, and sleepover restrictions IMPROVE higher relationship quality.
And yes, parenting difficulty goes up.
Of course it does. Leadership is harder than appeasement.
For the past decade we have been sold a watered down, Instagram friendly version of тАЬgentle parentingтАЭ that often collapses into boundary avoidance, endless negotiation and emotional processing without enforcement. Parents terrified of saying no because they do not want to rupture connection.
But connection without authority is not connection. It is dependency.
When parents impose structure, the relationship improves.
Teenagers report better parent child relationship quality in homes with curfews and rules. Younger kids report better relationships in homes with screen limits and bedtimes. Even device drop off times correlate positively.
Why?
Because structure is not cruelty. Structure is love made visible.
A bedtime says: your brain matters more than your entertainment.
A screen limit says: your dopamine system is not fully developed and I will guard it until it is.
A curfew says: your safety matters more than your social standing.
That is not authoritarianism. That is caring.
Boundaries create friction. Friction creates growth. The parent absorbs the short term discomfort so the child does not pay the long term cost.
Children do not experience well calibrated limits as rejection. They experience them as stability. The human brain craves predictability. Predictability reduces anxiety. Reduced anxiety strengthens attachment.
That is why relationship quality goes up.
Notice something else in the data. The strongest effects are around time structure. Bedtime. Homework. Devices. Outside play. These are environmental constraints. They scaffold executive function.
The winning formula is not tyranny.
It is high warmth plus high structure.
The modern failure mode is high warmth plus low structure. That is just abdication of responsibility wrapped in empathy.
Children need leadership, not negotiation. They need adults who can tolerate their anger. They need boundaries that do not move every time emotions spike. They need someone whose prefrontal cortex is fully myelinated.
The harder path produces the stronger bond.
Because when a child feels that someone is strong enough to hold the line, they relax. And relaxed nervous systems build durable relationships.
Best career advice that I can give: Don't ever attach yourself to a person, a place, a company, an organization or a project. Attach yourself to a mission, a calling, or a purpose ONLY. That's how you keep your power and your peace. It's worked pretty well for me thus far.
Evil eye is not a new thing and u will see people practising this in many culture, not only in India.. but <khud ki najar lag jaana> was not something which was common but people have realized it lately
How many of you noticed, things go wrong when you tell people?
u expected some good news. ur life is going good. u are excited. u tell a friend
and suddenly... boom.. it takes a U turn.
Similar to observer effect in quantum physics which says a particle behaves like a wave with infinite potential until it is observed.
but the moment it is observed, it collapses into a single particle
our plan is in a state of pure potential. when we say it too early, we expose it to the observation of hundreds of minds.
we force it to collapse before it becomes real.
also, u think ur friends are happy for you. consciously, they might be. but subconsciously, the majority carry Matsarya <hidden envy>...
thoughts carry energy. When you say it, the doubt of the other person too create a block.
and if you look from astrological perspective, 2H governs both, speech & dhana <Assets>
It sits directly opposite the 8H <secret>.
as they take energy from the same house, if u spend ur energy on speaking, u drain the other energy.

Princeton researchers discovered that the human brain emits ultra-low-frequency electromagnetic waves that appear to form part of a global neural network. These signals can subtly influence other peopleтАЩs brains from as far as 10,000KM away, raising the possibility that human consciousness is interconnected across the planet.
This work adds to a growing body of research suggesting that our brains communicate not only through neurons but also through delicate electromagnetic fields. Some studies indicate that these fields may help shape empathy, intuition, and even the way groups synchronize their behavior. Experiments have also hinted that when one person meditates or focuses deeply, nearby or even distant individuals can show slight shifts in their brainwave patterns.
The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) Laboratory has conducted several experiments that show the mind has a subtle capacity to influence the output of devices known as Random Event Generators (REGs).
A project that initially started when a student was curious to study the effects of the human mind and intention on the surrounding environment, turned into a rigorous testing lab where Dr. Robert Jahn and his lab assistant spent many hours experimenting to determine whether or not the mind has an effect on our physical world. Jahn and his assistant were able to determine that the human minds interactions with the machines demonstrated a relationship that was not physical in nature. The mind was able to affect and change outcomes of the machine in ways that were beyond standard deviations. In essence, consciousness was having an effect over the physical world.
To determine the effects of the mindтАЩs intention on the physical world, they built several machines called a random number generator. The machine would essentially mimic a coin flip and record the results over time. The machine performed 200 flips per second and produced an average mean of 100 as one would expect. Left unattended, the machine would continue to produce results that suggested a 50/50 chance of producing either heads or tails. The interesting results came when human intention started to interact with the machine.
What was once a random 50/50 chance of producing heads or tails began to deviate from expectation as the observer began to intend for the numbers to be higher or lower. While the effects of the mind over the machines was not large, it was enough that contemporary physics is unable to explain what exactly is happening. Perhaps this is where the quantum world can shed light?
The implications of this research on humanity are fascinating given it could reach into the realms of creating a world of peace, a thriving world and abundance. If intentions and thoughts can impact something the way it has been demonstrated above, why not explore the boundaries of how far this can go?
