@zhuoyanakl Gosh the last time it was consulted on was 2014 and there was a bus at least half way there, the 156. Baffles me why its taking so long. If people want to go places with PT that seems like a really obvious destination. Buses every few mins on some routes but zero to piha 🤷🏻♀️
@thirdculturebot Really ? That looks hidious how is that a solution ? Anyone pushed over to the left by a crowd of pedestrians isnt gonna read that and will slip on it anyway.
@MarkSReynolds@TheGradyConnell@RichardHills_ Yeah and for a few seconds first so you can actually see it and not if you're already in proximity especially on a bike or you could end up over the handlebars trying to brake in time.
@TheGradyConnell Stopped to let one in the other day. Just sat there with right indicator for no reason it seems. So just went anyway. But I do wonder if there will be some reasonable things added like them indicating for at least 3 seconds first and those already alongside the bus not needing to
8 empty lanes wide and driveway available buy nope just force people to step out in the bus lane. This guy almost got bowled. Unbelievable car culture we still have.
@captain_pinchy@StJohnNZ Even when it's an emergency it's bizare they just do it for no reason when can park in the road with basically zero difference in effort or time. Why create another potential emergency forcing folks out into the road in some cases. Also setting poor example.
