Reuter reported this morning, through what it described as investigative reporting, that Ethiopia is hosting a training camp for a RSF. However, a closer examination of the available evidence raises significant issues with this claim.
First, Reuter findings rely heavily on satellite imagery showing clusters of tents, which it characterizes as a military training camp. Our analysis suggests these sites are far more likely to be gold mining camps currently under construction by the Ethiopian government. Imagery previously shared by the Office of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed released several months ago to document the commencement of gold mining projects in the area closely matches the same locations and structures that Reuter now presents as evidence of a rebel training camp.

@TheodrosKassa Saw some of the replies. Living near church/mosque and sleeping late at night after work and then for the noise to wake you up just after a few hours especially during fasting season is a night mare.

A law passed today by Ethiopia's Parliament allows detectives to do whatever they like on suspects without accountability unless death occurs... . be it burn or pull out suspects' nails during investigations as it used to happen a lot in recent times.
It's a horrific escalation from the previous anti-terrorism law.
Another war is looming over Tigray
I am currently in Mekelle, Tigray. People are very worried and scared.
We are unsure what is going to happen and if our safety will be compromised.
