🚀 300K+ transactions. 600,024 shielded commitments.
With just two days left before completing 2 months of Testnet, Orbinum has reached another major milestone.
🔹 300,000+ transactions processed
🔹 600,024 commitments in our first Shielded Pool tree
🔹 840K+ blocks produced
🔹 A growing network of nodes and peers
And we're just getting started.
All network data and activity is publicly available on the Orbinum Testnet Explorer:

📚 Docs rebuilt from the ground up.
Orbinum's documentation is now split into 5 sections, each written for who's actually reading it:
🔹 Learn - start here
🔹 Protocol - how privacy works
🔹 Nodes - run one, validate
🔹 Build - SDK & precompiles
🔹 Community - quests & seasons

🌐 First step to crosschain: we connected to Gargantua.
Gargantua is the current testnet environment for the @hyperbridge network. Orbinum now talks to it.
Soon you'll be able to use it yourself and complete new crosschain quests.
Stay tuned 👀

🌐 Something new is coming to Orbinum.
Hyperbridge is coming.
A bridge between Orbinum and the rest of the ecosystem.
🔹 Cross-chain communication.
🔹 More connectivity.
🔹 More possibilities.

🗓️ We realigned the roadmap with where we actually are.
The public-sale moves from Q3 to Q4, next to mainnet and the TGE. It happens after the legal entity exists and after the first audits land, that order matters more than the date.
Q3 is now legal incorporation, initial audits, validator onboarding with telemetry, and ecosystem integration.

📦 One package to read Orbinum. Zero ability to spend.
The new Orbinum protocol package is live → https://t.co/sglWFHqqzf
Chain access, addresses, encoding, payment slips, selective disclosure. No key derivation, no vault, no proof witness, that code is not in the package.
The old Orbinum SDK is discontinued. It shipped custody to every dapp that only wanted to read the chain. Vault now lives on its own, so wallets get built separately from the apps that talk to them.

📩 Somebody paid you and nobody told you.
On a public chain the ledger announces your money. Orbinum does not, and that is the point. The note is on-chain, encrypted toward you, sitting among every other commitment.
So your wallet has to go looking. A full Rescan always works, but it walks the whole pool.
A payment slip skips that. The sender already knows which note is yours, so they hand you the string. You paste it, the note rebuilds, no scan. No spend power, no leak, opt-in by the sender.

🔐 Orbinum: runtime + SDK migration shipped.
Runtime first: validator onboarding moved off-chain, and registering an EVM relay address is now self-service with proof of key ownership. Relay fees are attributed by dispatch origin instead of a call argument, there's no field left for someone to rewrite and claim a fee they never paid for. That's the groundwork for onboarding community validators.
SDK next, and this is the bigger one. Every secret now derives as a sibling branch of the master key instead of a chain. Before, the key that FINDS your notes descended from the key that SPENDS them, you couldn't hand out one without the other.
Separating them unlocks:
🔹 Watch-only wallets, a viewing credential that cannot spend, enforced by the type system
🔹 Granular upgrades, spending keys, payment slips and viewing keys can now evolve independently
🔹 Payment slip recovery
That last one: a slip is sealed toward the recipient, so the sender never held a readable copy. Send it, lose it, note gone. Now your wallet recovers the public facts from chain and seals a fresh envelope with identical contents, without ever reading the original.
You can re-share any note you've ever sent. And sender history is exact, not inferred from "inputs minus change minus fee".
Nothing extra goes on chain for any of it.
⚠️ Breaking identity change: notes are committed under an owner key, so re-deriving orphans them. Unshield before upgrading.

🔐 Talisman now pays more.
Link a Talisman Substrate address to your Orbinum account and every on-chain quest pays +5 credits.
It is also the safest way to use Orbinum. Your private identity comes from an origin-bound signature we built with the Talisman team: the wallet supplies the origin, not the page asking for it, so a hostile site gets different bytes and whatever it derives controls nothing. An EVM signature cannot do that. Substrate can.
🔹 Install Talisman → https://t.co/IbAo1yDK8P
🔹 Create a new Substrate address
🔹 In your account, open the Wallet tab and update your linked wallet
🔹 Sign in again and start earning +5 per quest
Your private notes stay with the wallet that holds them, so move funds yourself before switching. You can switch back anytime.
🙌 Thanks to @wearetalisman for building this with us.

🛡️ Validator onboarding is open.
Now they can become part of the network for real: applications for the Orbinum Testnet validator set are open.
Testnet validators are the ones we will know. Uptime, responsiveness, how a node behaves when the network is under load, none of that can be assessed from an application form. It is earned by running one. The operators who secure testnet are the operators we will turn to first for mainnet.
📋 What it takes:
🔹 A server with dedicated CPU, ZK verification runs inside block execution
🔹 Session keys registered on-chain
🔹 Your node visible on telemetry, this one is required
🔹 An email to [email protected]
We also rewrote the node documentation from scratch. Everything about running a node now lives in one place, whichever role you want:
