On September 3rd at 10:30am ET, @RepRoKhanna and I will be hosting a press conference at the Capitol joined by survivors of Epstein and Maxwell's abuse — several of whom will be speaking out for the first time.
The survivors deserve justice and Americans deserve transparency.
Here's former Supreme Court justice Antonin Scalia -- probably the single most popular justice among the American Right in the last 5 decades -- explaining why burning the American flag is vital free speech under the 1st Am, and why banning it is clearly unconstitutional.
🧵🚨 1. Everyone should know the story of Roscoe Filburn, a farmer from Ohio who found himself in the crosshairs of one of the most absurd federal overreaches in history. It’s a tale of government control over the most basic of American freedoms—growing your own wheat.
While the TX shooter murdered children and teachers for an hour, heavily armed police stood outside.
Not only did they refuse to stop the shooter, they stopped parents from trying to do so themselves, even pinning a man down to stop him.
Forcing kids to wear masks is bad policy. Parents are best equipped to decide whether they want their kids to wear a mask in school. Neither bureaucrats in Washington nor local authorities should be able to override the decision of the parents.
One side fires over a thousand rockets into civilian areas hoping to kill anyone, including Israeli Arabs.
The other side delivers phone calls and "knock bombs" to evacuate civilians before destroying Hamas-occupied buildings.
And most of the West pretends moral equivalence.
I have already declared that I would pardon Edward Snowden immediately upon taking office, along with Julian Assange and Ross Ulbricht.

Matt is right. This is important. @Snowden exposed illegal and unconstitutional actions by the Deep State, including Clapper and others who went after @realDonaldTrump and lied about it.
For $2 trillion, we could double the figures below and give every family of four $7,000 per month for three months.
This would be far more helpful to the people than the Senate bill. It would aid everyone, prevent favoritism, and ensure the economy has the flexibility it needs.
Think Congress can’t get much done? Republicans and Democrats are working together right now to reauthorize Patriot Act provisions that expire in December. They’re not going to let impeachment stand in the way of some good old-fashioned unconstitutional surveillance of Americans.
