title for the day: Is it legal to sue for hypothermia? #wearedgn #dgnhchswrite

[akor1248 @akor1248]

Enjoying this great opportunity to finally meet my writing partners from HCHS! #DGNHCHSWrite #wearedgn

[akor1248 @akor1248]

@csou0971 I think it's mostly because reality is finally kicking in after everything that happens. #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"running and running until she reaches
at last the one and only door"-clifton she just keeps hoping... #wearedgn #AARI16

[akor1248 @akor1248]

@tbak0754 @fmye0322 that makes sense too. #wearedgn #AARI16 #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"all of the clocks strike
NO" I love the use of syntax, it really makes the poem more realistic.

[akor1248 @akor1248]

@fmye0322 I think it's both. such a great line though! #wearedgn #AARI16 #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"with too many windows which open on a world she has no language for" -clifton
such uncertainity here. #wearedgn #AARI16 #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"a woman unlike myself is running down the long hall" clifton does she say "unlike" myself to reference another person? #wearedgn #AARI16

[akor1248 @akor1248]

@lplu2767 I didn't notice that but it makes so much sense! #wearedgn #AARI16 #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"my dream about time" by lucille clifton is so relevant to today. we never stop and enjoy lives, we are always just looking ahead. #wearedgn

[akor1248 @akor1248]

thornhill draws attention to the vulnerability of poetry, "Why do I feel so
achingly alive? How? How long will
you last?"#wearedgn #AARI16

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"How the sun rinses
night with its
yellow gloves!"-thornhill I love the personification here! #wearedgn #AARI16 #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"I’m the world’s
candy, brightly wrapped
sin. " such raw truth changes the atmosphere of the poem. #wearedgn #AARI16 #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"Keep your mouth shut
sky, as I drive
down the ribs of this
land"-thornhill this is an interesting opening to her poem. #wearedgn #AARI16

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"No science. No design. Nothing taken
Gently into his hand or your hand or mine,
Nothing we erect is our own." #wearedgn #AARI16

[akor1248 @akor1248]

"God came to know the moment
Adam named animals and claimed
Eve, turning from heaven to her As if she was his" #wearedgn #AARI16

[akor1248 @akor1248]

@cily0563 Yeah I caught on to that too. But in his situation, it makes sense.#bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

The abundance of time references are leading the book along. #bronke3

[akor1248 @akor1248]

Even though they are in aushwitz, they are still optimistic. Is this because of their deep community? #bronke3
