Not every exit is poaching or disloyalty. People outgrow roles and move on. If the offer wasn’t good, why accept it? And if they’re valuable, why let them leave? Pwede din mag-move on.
Key takeaway from our class adviser at last night’s HS reunion:
25 years on, you’ve already made a journey, gained wisdom, and you’ll know that life is short. Spend it with the people you love and the people who know you to the core and who genuinely care for you.
Yesterday at the palengke, I saw a man in 60s selling ampalaya. He looked like he had a stroke, he said that he is trying to sell his last 5 pieces to buy meds. Naisip ko yung mga nagnakaw ng tax ko, haaay.
BOMBSHELL speech by Mayor Vico Sotto against COA Commissioner Lipana (DDS appointee) and Barangay officials (na may Kapitan-Contractor or SOP).
“Wag kayong magmamalaki sakin na malakas kayo kay COA Commissioner Mario Lipana.”
Naka nganga pa din ako sa binitawang linyahan ni Mayor.

He gave light to the expansion initiatives of $MER, the only one who believed that time that we needed to do it. Thank you for your wisdom, and leadership.
Proud to know that such brilliant mind is a Bulakenyo! Rest in peace, Boss!

First time to experience this kind of earthquake while I am at the 5F of the Hotel in Bacolod, nagsisigawan ung mga nasa floor ko, fortunately, was able to make it at the Exit kahit na may knee injury pa ko. Hope everyone is safe, power is out in some parts of Visayas.
I’m so proud of Quezon City for charging ahead and taking the issue of flood control by its horns - dalawang presscon and weeks of fact-finding to establish the facts and conclusions dito sa QC.
According to Mayor Joy Belmonte based on her press con and numerous interviews, these are some of the facts about flood control in QC:
1. Seventeen (17) Billion pesos in flood control projects were implemented by the DPWH in Quezon City and around 2.6 Billion pesos were lost in ghost projects.
2. District 5 has no ghost projects while Districts 1, 2, and 3 have a few ghost projects (less than ten) and Districts 4 and 6 have a lot of ghost projects (more than twenty).
3. Some flood control projects come from the NEP while some come from budget insertions (unclear if by Bicam or Small Committee).
Mayor Joy turned over the City’s findings to the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) for further investigation.
And I think QC is the FIRST and only city so far to give the ICI a report about flood control projects in their jurisdiction (with data not just about project title or cost but verification whether the project was implemented or a ghost project).
Good governance talaga dito sa Quezon City!

This is where our taxes go. Billions in kickbacks to politicians and members of the DPWH.
This post is from Pasig City Mayor @VicoSotto’s IG stories.
Isipin n’yo - hundreds of millions in cash, nasa opisina at ipinambabayad na kickback? SOP daw sa senador - 30% kada infra project?!
Philippines, what a tragedy. People have to be made accountable.
@PLDT_Cares Nakaraming PM na po ako, and tumawag na rin ako, same lang ang sagot araw araw. So ano po magagawa ba o hindi. Location is Guiguinto, Bulacan.
@PLDT_Cares Hindi na kami okay @PLDT_Cares
Wala pa ring internet. Bakit po ang tagal ng resolution, palaging sinasabi na may technician na pupunta pero wala pa rin. Day 7 na bukas. Ano po kaya?!?!
