Yet another instance of deliberate obstruction in West Bengal.

The Office of the ERO, Kulti – 282 (Asansol) has refused to accept Form 7, preventing the lawful deletion of ineligible and fake voters from the electoral rolls.

This repeated pattern, wherever Form 7 is filed to cleanse voter lists, officials stonewall, raises serious concerns about administrative neutrality and political pressure.

The Election Commission must take immediate cognisance. Free and fair elections demand accountability, not obstruction.

The attempt to politicise a tragic incident involving fellow Bengalis is despicable and deeply irresponsible.

Facts matter. On 13.01.2026, at around 11:00 AM, an incident was reported from the C V Area of BCCL, within the leasehold area of Damagoria OC, West Bengal. The incident occurred 700–800 metres away from the active working zone, in an area where mining operations are already suspended due to land issues.

This was not a mine collapse during authorised operations. The tragedy occurred due to illegal mining. Illegal miners breached the barbed-wire fencing, entered the mine from the eastern side, and dug coal through a rat hole, leading to a collapse of strata. Four persons were trapped; tragically, two lost their lives, while two managed to escape.

The real question is this: who enabled and protected the coal-smuggling syndicate that forces locals into illegal, dangerous mining? This network has thrived under Trinamool’s patronage in Bengal for years. Instead of addressing the criminal ecosystem they nurtured, Trinamool is shamelessly trying to shift blame and manufacture outrage.

Turning the deaths of Bengalis, pushed into illegal mining by Trinamool’s coal mafia, into a political weapon is unconscionable. Accountability must be fixed where it truly lies: on those who allowed illegal mining, coal theft, and syndicate rule to flourish in West Bengal.

Bengal will not be misled by lies. Nor will it forget who is responsible for creating this deadly underground economy.

What a pathetic spectacle in Kolkata today ! Our football-crazed Bengali Fans, dreaming of a glimpse of the GOAT Lionel Messi, shelled out thousands for tickets, only to be treated like second-class citizens in their own state.
While Arup Biswas, Sujit Bose, and their bootlicking entourage of 100+ VIP vultures swarmed Messi like leeches on a bloodbath, the real fans? Stuck in galleries, staring at a measly 5-7 minutes on a giant screen ! No direct view, just betrayal.

And get this: Water bottles banned inside, forcing desperate fans to cough up ₹200 for a ₹20 bottle? Classic TMC extortion racket ! These so-called "leaders" turned a sporting icon's visit into their personal photo-op and profit bonanza.

This isn't just mismanagement; it's a criminal assault on West Bengal's pride and betrayal of our passionate football lovers. Enough is enough !

My Demands as Leader of the Opposition:-
1. FULL 100% REFUND for every gallery ticket holder, return every paisa you stole.
2. IMMEDIATE ARREST of Sports Minister Arup Biswas, Fire Minister Sujit Bose, and sham organizer Shatadru Dutta for this Govt Sponsored lawlessness, loot and chaos.
3. MAMATA BANERJEE MUST RESIGN for dragging West Bengal's name through the mud on the global stage. Step down before you destroy what's left of our state's soul.

विगत कुछ दिनों से बांग्लादेश में सत्ता परिवर्तन के आंदोलन के दौरान हिंदू, बौद्ध तथा वहाँ के अन्य अल्पसंख्यक समुदायों के साथ हो रही हिंसा की घटनाओं पर राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ गंभीर चिंता व्यक्त करता है।

बांग्लादेश में हिंदू तथा अन्य अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय के लोगों की लक्षित हत्या, लूटपाट, आगज़नी, महिलाओं के साथ जघन्य अपराध तथा मंदिर जैसे श्रद्धास्थानों पर हमले जैसी क्रूरता असहनीय है, तथा  रा० स्व० संघ इसकी घोर निंदा करता है।

बांग्लादेश की अंतरिम सरकार से अपेक्षा है कि वह तुरंत सख़्ती से ऐसी घटनाओं पर रोक लगाये और पीड़ितों के जान, माल व मान के रक्षा की समुचित व्यवस्था करे।
