See, it worked in my case tbh. I’m not an insane-level programmer either. Pick a specific niche like DSA, building cool projects with real users, OSS, etc and become really good at that. At the same time start applying after a few months of serious consistency. I’m 100% sure you’ll land something.

One random thing I want to share with you guys:

Money is obviously one of the main things we work for. But when you stop chasing money and start doing something purely out of passion and curiosity, success often follows and money follows success.

So instead of aggressively chasing the highest-paying roles, focus on doing something you genuinely love. Get really good at it and let the money follow.

I’m planning to build a PC around ₹2.5-3 lakh but it’s my first time building one. If you have experience with this please suggest some good builds/components. My main use case is working with big monorepos with tons of compilation, Docker, running multiple agents, a bit experimenting with local models, and generally doing high-intensity coding.
