Universalism is a weapon. The Christian doctrine that every soul is equal before jewish Jesus, opened the door to the claim that every culture, every people, every demand is equal too. The result is slow erasure sold as moral duty.
@RespectableCon Right, but the universalist generally believes in something Purgatory-esque (as a massive oversimplification, don't kill me), where God's grace can be found after the disorder of the flesh is stripped away. If we then deny meaningful moral distinction, universalism is natural.
@GerdVonBarb Of course each of us is chief of sinners, I just think Hitler spent his entire life demonstrating the extent to which he rejected God’s grace and I find it hard to believe that it was in his character to, in the end, accept it.
@BaxterWilliams_@albertus3M Universalists believe it is a temporary state where you get purified before being able to enter Heaven. You may want to read David Bentley Hart on this topic
@BaxterWilliams_@albertus3M Yes, Hell is a real biblical teaching, but whether it was taught as eternal or not by Jesus is debated due to traslation issues. 1/2
@oecolamp Just wait until you find Augustinian Universalism, which is basically universalist Calvinism. Theres a tension in calivinism re God's electing grace and his infinite goodness and omnipotence. Finite wills cannot reject God infinitely ergo eventually gods grace overpowers everyone
Every thing that tries to make Africa great, US vetoes it but the uninformed Africans keep licking American hairy butts
They should just remove the brain of some Africans and put antelope brain for them.
@HorrorGorl Absolutely. I was using it none stop to run from my problems. Smoked carts everyday, recently stopped and not addicted like i was and got so much smarter and thinking faster again. Shit is horrible. Cart addiction is real. So flower addiction is real as well!
@samueleyekosi The 70-Year Exile: Jeremiah explicitly predicted that Judah would serve the king of Babylon for a span of 70 years before restoration (Jeremiah 25:11-12)
@samueleyekosi Learning apologetics 100% convinces me. simply searching “proven geopoliticial old testament prophecies” See the following in the comments and do your own research. Hell is not a fun place to be for 1000 years until the White Throne, all will be saved then, but thats a long wait
@samueleyekosi Destruction of Tyre: Ezekiel (Ezekiel 26) detailed the siege and destruction of the Phoenician city of Tyre by Nebuchadnezzar and later Alexander the Great.
@samueleyekosi The Rise of Persia and Cyrus: Isaiah specifically named Cyrus (Isaiah 45:1) over a century before his reign, predicting he would conquer Babylon and allow the Jewish exiles to return.
@samueleyekosi The Fall of Babylon: Isaiah (Isaiah 13–14) and Jeremiah (Jeremiah 50–51) prophesied the complete desolation and fall of the Babylonian Empire to the Medes and Persians, an event realized in 539 BCE.
