i don’t feel disordered, im not constantly consumed by thoughts of food like i used to be and im maintaining my weight without much effort but i avoid stuff that i think will make me gain weight and refuse to return to a “healthy” bmi
edtwt i hv a question
if im no longer thinking about food everyday / actively restricting, but am maintaining at my gw (bmi 15s) and refuse to gain / “recover”, am i disordered or
Even tho I don’t consider myself disordered currently (I don’t rly think ab food/exercise at all and j do whatever, not trying to actively lose weight) I still want to be small so it made me happy asf lol
Bf was talking about how he’s into slender girls but not skeletal and that if I looked skeletal it would be less attractive and I asked for an example
And he referenced a pic
And then I told him i weigh the same as I did then (if not less) and he said I look healthier now so i went and took a pic with the same pose and sent it and he admitted I look even skinnier now
i forced myself to stop weighing myself and counting calories and it was rlly difficult at first but eventually i got there but instead of gaining weight back i actually lost it without meaning to
getting to the stage where i feel 700-800 net cals is too much.. gotta remind myself it’s still a deficit and i physically cant gain fat unless my net cals is at least 1100 (my bmr)
@afterhours_bea @pantamyyy i’ve been losing the most consistently doing high res, and haven’t binged in months - slow consistent progress also makes life more enjoyable than extreme res (which i used to do and led to a 6 month binge/overeating cycle)
