It was 36 years ago today that I received my first Test Cap as player number 192 for India. Taking the wicket of Allan Lamb was the start of a truly special journey, one that I cherish deeply to this day.
I am incredibly grateful for this journey and everyone who has been a part it. 🙏🏽
What @palkisu is saying makes sense. When algorithms become teachers, reels become textbooks , virality becomes truth, when reading disappears, it is misinformation that flourishes. An uninformed generation can be a potential national security risk.

Ganpati Bappa Morya!
People often ask me — what’s the most important body part for making money in equities?
Most assume it’s the brain.
After all, equities look so attractive — liquid, tax-efficient, transparent, and capable of creating huge wealth.
But they are also extremely volatile. Prices move up and down without warning.
Events we expect don’t move the market… and the ones we don’t expect shake it the most.
Even if you know everything in advance, when it actually happens, it is incredibly difficult to stay calm and stay invested.
That’s why it’s not the high IQ or the sharp mind that makes money.
It’s the stomach.
The ability to digest volatility and stay on course.
Which brings me to Ganpati Bappa.
His big head teaches wisdom.
His large ears remind us to listen.
His small eyes show us focus.
And his big stomach shows us how to peacefully hold and digest everything — the good and the bad.
That’s exactly what equity investing needs.
Ganpati Bappa Morya! 🙏
With every passing moment, with every decision taken I feel extremely proud of our Indian Army, Indian Airforce & Indian Navy. Our warriors are standing tall for our nation’s pride. It’s important for every Indian to be responsible and refrain from spreading or believing any fake news. Stay safe, everyone!

The Norwegian Nobel Committee,
I know that once a Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded, it cannot be taken back. But please consider whether it is possible in exceptional circumstances.
You awarded the Nobel Peace Prize to Muhammad Yunus of Bangladesh. But he has not done a single act for peace. While at Grameen Bank, he evaded taxes, used foreign donations intended for the bank to establish numerous business ventures, and when women who took microloans failed to repay with interest, Grameen Bank's enforcers would demolish their homes.
Now, he has illegally assumed power in Bangladesh by aligning with jihadi militants. Over the past nine months, under his orders, opposition members and minority Hindus have been killed, their homes burned and destroyed, and many have been falsely imprisoned. He has demolished the country’s history museum and obliterated statues of Bengali heroes. As an agent of Pakistan — the defeated force of 1971 — he is now frenziedly preparing for war against neighboring India.
He is 84 years old. Bangladesh has absolutely no capacity to wage war against India. Yet, in his delusion, he is about to cause the deaths of millions of people in the country. Because of attacks by jihadi militants, industries have shut down. The economic condition is about to become catastrophic. But Yunus shows no concern. He does not intend to hold elections either. His associates are busy looting the nation.
He is dragging the country into a terrifying crisis — economic, political, and social. He harbors hatred and vengeance in his heart. His behavior is uncivilized, barbaric, and brutal. He wants to kill all opposition members. He has no desire for peace. Not even for a single day in these nine months has there been peace in the country.
And you awarded him the Nobel Peace Prize?
Please take back his Nobel Prize. Set a precedent in favor of peace.
Sincerely,
Taslima Nasrin
