🚨 Arsenal in advanced talks with Sporting Lisbon over deal to sign Viktor Gyokeres. Transfer fee discussions continue but personal terms in place on 5yr contract. 27yo #SportingCP striker only wants #AFC. Arteta pushing for swift conclusion @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/Re7peRinub
In UK,laws are bend by powerful Institutions /clubs/org etc.
Man city have escarped from 115 charges and Arsenal were also got away with partey!
What a coincidence...

Takehiro Tomiyasu, in January 2022, in his self-written column, ‘My Way of Life’: “In the Arsenal locker room, there is something I have never seen before in other European clubs I’ve been at — a shoe box [area beneath to put your boots/shoes].”
“Arsenal had long been guided by Arséne Wenger, who had experience in the J-League as manager of Nagoya Grampus. It seems that it is something he brought over from Japan, but for me, it may be one of the reasons why I feel comfortable in this club.” 🥺🇯🇵
After yesterday's tragedy, was thinking of others we've lost in recent times. A player who isn't spoken of much is Niccolo Galli. AW once said that had he lived, he had no doubts Galli would've captained AFC + Italy & become a great. He lost his life at only 17. Such a sad story.
Thank you, Tomi ❤️
We have reached a mutual agreement with Takehiro Tomiyasu to end his contract with immediate effectThank you, Tomi ❤️

@Agon18050849@Athletic_en He used Barca to get a pay raise, that had happened in the past a lot of times and will happen in the future.
Barca may have huge success in the recent past but they are not classy club at all rather a batty club!
With nico remains at @Athletic_en, Bayern and that Saudi club may tag into bidding war for martinelli!
Martinelli will say yes to Bayern surely, not sure about that Saudi club, hence we may go after Anthony/rodrygo @afcI4
🚨 Al-Nassr are willing to offer a fee of around €85m for Gabriel Martinelli, but Arsenal also don’t really want to sell the player. Sources have confirmed, however, that Arsenal could be persuaded. [@JacobsBen]
@Buchi_Laba I don't think so!You can't judge a manager's decision from outside without knowing the real reasons! Arteta thought differently from your perspectives.
I think,he becomes nervy after Eze rumours, not before that, hence this posturing!
And certainly, salary are not the problem
Having said that,#Arsenal knew,he was a injury prone player at that time! Arsenal took a €18 m bet, it's paid off for 1st 2 years and then everything went downhill!
A fantastic defender & it's a shame his #Arsenal career ended this way. Wish,he recovers soon.
Still reminiscing that day at Emirate where he played as LB against #Liverpool & marked salah in such a way that salah was ineffective most of the game!
Goodbye #Tomiyasu
@gtors1@David_Ornstein@gunnerblog@TheAthleticFC@arseblog Nothing, read that again! He got the chance only due to his closeness to arteta, not due to his coaching credentials! Besides, his playing times didn’t indicate otherwise!
@gtors1@David_Ornstein@gunnerblog@TheAthleticFC@arseblog No,he is a mediocre defender at best and playing as a backup to Rio and Vidic! The pairs have played most of the games in title winning season and also in RM,he played as a back up.He played 50+ games in 4 yrs tells a lot about him! I watched him playing,so i can vouch that!
