I grew up at the track, my kids have never ever seen a racetrack...They won't miss me, but they'll miss not having my kids around the sport as they are the future, and the future looks bleek....

@shegone03 So much to that kids story…I would say he was poorly managed ( how do you pitch over an innings cap when your a 1st round pick already) but he got his 2.75. And if you listen to him that’s all he really cared about, was getting the right money.

@BestDamnBroker VERY HARD PASS !! He won’t fix the football problem, he won’t fix much of anything. Much had been written about how dysfunctional the athletic department was during his time. Didn’t do well with a big personality in Bo Pelini, can’t see him doing well in the NIL era…

@MaineFalconry @CoachSwit The kids are quitting before they get to HS, so how is that on the HS ? LL has them for 7 YEARS 5-12 y/o, and its a small field the entire 7 years, and then foced to jump 14 ft pitching and 30 for bases, and oh ya, it's a totally different game then what they learn in LL

@CoachSwit too many travel teams and not enough arms.. It's a numbers game. just played in a 12u PG Tourny in MA.after 2 pool games most teams had zero pitching left, just throwing whatever was left, or just praying their starter could last 6.NY team that won had probably 7/8 legit arms
