I’m totally devastated. There’s absolutely no excuse for this. We had everything we needed to make it to next year’s Champions League and we failed. We are Liverpool and qualifying to the competition is the bare minimum. I am sorry but it’s too soon for an uplifting or optimistic post. We let you and ourselves down.
@tobyasky Oga stick to fiction. Just like Slot, this topic you are dabbling into is way over your head. But I know you are engagement farming anyway so enjoy
What did Salah say that sounded like he was dragging the coach? He dragged everyone including himself. This is not how Liverpool play, he wants to always win.
If you think he’s wrong, why then do we have players liking his message? No language barrier.
Arne Slot won the league last time majorly because of Salah and this season, we have been terrible while our coach showed lack of ability. He’s always saying one good thing about our losses in his post match interviews, yet he doesn’t bench the right players. A coach who lacks zeal and technical know-how. It is not Salah VS Liverpool, it’s Salah VS how we are playing as a team. Vieira can shove his opinions up his ass. Liverpool is better without Slot than without Salah.
The coach can bench Salah all he wants, his legacy is still untouched.
@Romme1andre Guess this is one of your 90% sarcasm posts 😬. Plus your math ain’t mathing cos i don’t know how you arrived at “many more of the fanbase” hating on him. Probly the same math as your 90-10 stupid vs serious post rule 😵💫
Worst season I can ever recall
Barely an entertaining game
Shocking standard of football
Champions who play the most anti football brand I can ever remember
Cup finals passing by without anyone really caring
Pointless world cup at the end of it!!
@Humor_Monger I’ll take this post of yours as humor mongering cos nothing else explains how you can look at a system that delivered 4 European finals and 2 close 2nds (which would have won the league in any other season outside the pep era) as not worth raving about.
@liverpxxl9 He’s leaving so no need for “it’s time to go” like your silly opinion matters. Fans have eyes you know. His legacy is strong for speaking truth to power where jokers like you prefer him to shut up in the name of legacy protection while the club crumbles to unprecedented lows
@_PaulHayward The Mo Salah manifesto (demanding high standards on and off the pitch) sounds good to me. But you already knew that and still decided to post this shit deluded take of yours. I hope you enjoy your 5 minutes of engagement farming
Top mistakes last Summer :
1) Failed to sign a recognised right-back.
2) Didn’t sign Marc Guéhi
3) No defensive midfielder was targeted or signed.
4) Sold Tyler Morton with zero midfield depth
4) The Elliott loan deal (Villa reportedly won’t play him to avoid triggering the obligation to buy)
5) Sold Luis Díaz, the biggest mistake.
6) Sold Darwin Núñez
7) Signed both Isak and Ekitiké (far too similar as strikers) and ignored Isak injury issues.
8) Signed Giorgi Mamardashvili (questionable with his feet and not a modern sweeper-keeper)
Hughes and Edwards are every bit as big a problem as Slot — they all need to go.
They were handed a generational war chest and instead of building a dynasty, they set the club back years.
And these guys are called visionaries? 😂
61% - Liverpool have won 61% of matches with Mohamed Salah in the starting XI this season (20/33), compared to only 35% without him in the XI (8/23). Statement.
I do not care what’s going on with injuries….. reigning premier league champions should NOT have the same amount of loses as 2 promoted teams Leeds and Sunderland. Slot has to go that is NOT acceptable, the buck lies with you, and managers have gone for less a lot less.
I have witnessed this club go from doubters to believers, and from believers to champions. It took hard work and I always did everything I could to help the club get there. Nothing makes me prouder than that.
Us crumbling to yet another defeat this season was very painful and not what our fans deserve. I want to see Liverpool go back to being the heavy metal attacking team that opponents fear and back to being a team that wins trophies. That is the football I know how to play and that is the identity that needs to be recovered and kept for good. It cannot be negotiable and everyone that joins this club should adapt to it.
Winning some games here and there is not what Liverpool should be about. All teams win games.
Liverpool will always be a club that means a great deal to me and to my family. I want to see it succeed for long after I have moved on.
As I’ve always said, qualifying to next season’s Champions League is the bare minimum and I will do everything I can to make that happen.
@mosestein@MoSalah You are clearly not a Liverpool fan so please don’t speak of what you don’t know. We are in support of Salah so please mind your business!
