@Zoomcar @Zoomcar_India Unacceptable harassment & extortion by a host in Bangalore around 10 PM.

The host (Mr Tharun B A) forcibly withheld my friend’s Driving License, demanded Rs 2999, and refused to hand the DL back unless he was given the phone to give himself a 5-star rating! We had to call the @BlrCityPolice, who intervened and rescued us after 40 mins (due to location issues).

The car (KA 02 MW 5517) was provided dirty with zero fuel. Support was unreachable (Ticket Id 2197141). Attached is video proof of the host threatening us & refusing to return the DL.

Hi @Zoomcar__India team, his profile is still up. We haven't received any compensation yet for our amount paid as a fraudulent car dent insurance claim and he harrassed to the point where the only option for us was to call the Cops. Attaching more images, you can see for yourself the reviews look identical and for sure he himself has put it just like he was forcing us to give the review for such a pathetic experience.

25 government schools are closing down every day in India. 📉

A recent report by NITI Aayog (School Education System in India) reveals critical shifts in the nation's primary and secondary education landscape over the last decade (2014–2025):
🔹 94,000 government schools shut down.
🔹 2.26 Crore fewer students enrolled in government schools.
🔹 11.5% dropout rate by the secondary level.

While school mergers aim to consolidate resources, education experts warn that closing neighbourhood schools can make education harder to access for rural children.
