Students of classes 8-11 from DPS Dibrugarh and PM Shri Naharkatia HSS visited Regional VRDL, ICMR-RMRC Dibrugarh on 19 Nov’25. They received an orientation on basic lab equipment & virology diagnostics, along with a demonstration of DNA extraction from buccal cavity.

Regional VRDL, ICMR-RMRCNE has organized a 2-day advanced hands-on workshop on RT PCR during 18-19 March, 2025. 26 participants from 13 different Institutions including Medical Colleges, Universities and Research Organizations of the NorthEast India participated in the workshop.
A team from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dibrugarh conducted a comprehensive investigation into a suspected Jaundice outbreak in Goalpara district.
