Ted Heidersdorf

Board game designer of #AtTheHelm, #SuperSlopes, and #MendenwellMine card for #TinyLibrary Modern Fantasy. I’m also a voice actor? #tedsbgprofile

@chessandpoker 😁 I think it was a Goodwill find when I was just really getting into board games? I didn’t realize at the time what a cool version of a great game it was!

Forgot to do my usual post for my family’s annual Thanksgiving getaway! Played the games on the left, didn’t play those on the right. We really shun electronics on this weekend but made an exception this year for the app Imposter … it got a lot of plays and laughter!

#SuperSlopes is game of the week on Button Shy’s new Etsy shop! Woot woot!

[Button Shy Games @buttonshy]

We're bringing back the Game Of The Week! Super Slopes is on sale for $9 (save $6!) at Etsy this week. It's 1-3 players, a different style of tile laying, and has a super cool draft.

@Marky_X_ Oh, maybe you have to do reviews?

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

@Marky_X_ My interest is piqued. Joined but don’t see how to rate games …

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

@Clint_Davey1 I have a family of 6 and finding games for all of us has been tough. Maybe Colt Express or Libertalia.

8th annual Thanksgiving getaway to a cabin for family time and board games is in the books! Played the games on the left, didn’t play those on the right. Love Letter Premium was new to the kids and the big hit of the weekend!

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

Meh, this book didn’t do much for me … gave up on it about halfway through and skimmed the rest.

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

Starting “Reality is Broken” today … I have seen this book recommended a few different places

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

@EllieDixTweets That’s awesome! Congrats!

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

@EquipKilt @erichibbeler Congrats! Looks great! Pick-and-pass is a mechanic that I’d love to try designing someday.

If you are a tabletop company or designer looking to do video interviews to talk about your game, you should reach out. I may not have my old channel, but something else is coming soon…

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

I’m a little late to the party but I spent the majority of yesterday playing a full solo campaign of #SleepingGods by @RedRavenGame. What an amazing experience! Mad props to Ryan for a monumental design!!

Weekend to myself! Kicking it off with #AtomicRobo while I wait for my Thai takeout. I’ve never been one for comics but saw a couple of these at the thrift store and thought I’d give ‘em a chance being dieselpunk-ish

[Ted Heidersdorf @aktheodore]

@chessandpoker Isle of Skye does this, although income can also be gained via a catchup mechanic
