A3 we are looking at getting smart-boards or interactive projectors now! We haven't decided which will meet our needs best yet. We went for a demo of smart-boards today and the projectors tomorrow. #hsd1chat

@youtheduteach I think third grade is different than first for homework. When the student has something specific to work on I will send it home, but not a math worksheet every Tuesday or something like that.

Q3 I don't assign homework. I expect them to read and practice spelling. I believe I work the first graders hard all day, home time is for family not more work. #HSD1chat

A2 I use whole brain teaching and it has really made a difference in classroom management. Gives kids ownership and keeps them busy so behaviors decline. #HSD1chat
