Photography is the physics of capturing memories.
Cameras are engineered equivalents to eyesight.
Learn to play with them and you will see things in a brighter way than anyone around you.
@seattleiscrazy Sorry am I missing something?
If someone has the money to afford a home that costs over $1 million are they not bringing the wealth with them?
Listing a home for sale should show individual financial stress, which we are all on the same boat (and not that yacht parked in Union)
@SEATTLESUBMISS Shame these billionaires aren’t creative because I would imagine it is hard to heat an entire water park… but then, they tell me they need lots of water to cool data centers…
And imagine using water slides as potential energy sources since you have a flow and a gradient…
@seattledot Looks like a great future ground floor for a second monorail…
Cover the skate park with a station & run it to the zoo and Green Lake!
North & South Seattle need more connections!
@SeattleMonorail
@future42org@ChrisDaniels_TV@komonews All these people fretting about cctv cameras are not really thinking about the security cameras on wheels that Elon mass-produced (Tesla)
If a camera can help solve a crime and the criminal is caught, then future crime, by that person, is prevented.
But I’d prefer just no crime
It would seem things like USAID & Peace Corps, where we acknowledge our privilege so much we help other countries by meeting them where they are, is preferable to the mindset of conserving a crippling county… but people think litter is a homeless issue…
Everyone should volunteer at a food bank at least once in your lifetime.
It’s important to see that world hunger is a distribution problem, not a scarcity issue.
Learning there’s enough for everyone and it’s just a matter of making sure it doesn’t spoil changes you.
Reminder for those who need to hear it regarding litter…
It is not a uniquely homeless behavior and stems from our collective consumption methods.
Oh and 30-40% of litter is used cigarette butts.
So frustrating to not see pushback from the “moderator”
No questioning of his core beliefs like whether we should aspire to give all humans access to water and electricity but instead letting him make it sound almost inevitable that intelligence (knowledge) be privatized.
Why is the first thing I witness out my window this morning someone refusing to yield to a pedestrian and their dog in a crosswalk?
Like why is it so difficult to hold a hierarchy in our heads?
If your commute is more comfortable you need to be more considerate!
🚶♂️> 🚴♂️>🚎> 🚗
Hot take… if you already commit to picking up your dog’s poop… what’s stopping you from scooping up a few cigarette butts and litter with the same bag?
Just saying, a visual reminder only helps an addiction… whether candy wrapper or cig…
Hey what if we kept shared bikes unlocked and only charged people if they wanted to electrify their ride?
Feel like it would help both recharge the batteries on board the bikes and would help collect scooters at the bottom of hills.
@limebike@lyft
Kinda confused why @Apple hasn’t tried to take back the portable handheld mic business by offering some sort of grip for an AirPod and allowing settings for it to be used for video…
@pmddomingos My hope is as these big tech platforms do layoffs they are strategic and include senior staff that may want to start their own business…
But I may be giving billionaires too much credit for wanting what’s best for their employees and the greater community.
Hey @Apple reminder that you could make “pedestrian directions with transit” the default on your phones…
Might make people think about the people they pass while in their 2 ton rolling kinetic missile more often.
Just saying.
Thermal drone footage captured by Floodlight shows Elon Musk’s AI power plant flouting clean air regulations, with images confirming xAI is continuing to defy EPA rules in Mississippi to power its flagship data centers.

Imagine spending hours of manual labor leveling off a trail in your local park and putting down grass seed only to wake up to see that someone literally salted the Earth and killed any hope of future growth…
Just why?
@thehoffather See I always struggle to spell keffiyeh correctly so I just call it a scarf…
But it’s a bit chilly out talking to the community in early February.
Hope this helps!
@VBesosa@j_fishback@elonmusk Because one of the key components of a teaching certificate is a federal background check to make sure your child isn’t left alone with an abuser…
Also a subject matter expert doesn’t guarantee good instruction, which is another benefit of being certified.
