I'm moving away from my role @St_Catz, and that means my job is now open to applications.
The role involves:
💻 digital communications;
💬 outreach delivery;
🪅 event management;
🫂 line managing a small but mighty team;
🎟 admissions administration.

I'm still recruiting for my PhD Research, for:
- Black British PhDs who completed their studies part time.
- Former PhD students who withdrew from their programmes.
If you/someone you know falls into these groups, I'd love to speak with you! More info at https://t.co/MgC0nUiCkB
Can anyone recommend reading on the need to work ethically in historical practice with the lives of people who are no longer alive? I'm familiar with the literature on oral history, but want to think about how this responsibility extends back.
Applications to become a Scholars Programme tutor for 2023/24 are now open!
Share your PhD research with aspiring young people near you!

“I can’t put that, I’m putting farmer, it’s done now”
Outside the department of education, with thousands of others, on the right side of history.
There must be change. There must be justice. Trans liberation now.

'Poorer students don’t rate teaching differently – they’re just more likely to miss out on it.' This really resonated with me, both from my personal experience and in relation to some of the work we do @BrilliantClub. Worth a read.

Had a lovely time last night watching this show with some of the amazing people I work with. The show's superb, and you should all go see it (especially if you have children, or work with children, or care about arts education!)

@chrisdromey_ Yes, sorry, that's my error - they did write 'insufficiently addressed'. As in, I have not addressed their points sufficiently. It's the lack of any further/more detailed guidance that I'm struggling with.

Do you want to join The Brilliant Club?
I have a Tutor Engagement Officer vacancy (maternity cover) in my team, the deadline is 9.00am Wednesday 18th January, more details here
