On this Memorial Day weekend, we remember and honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country. We also extend our thoughts and support to refugees and asylum seekers who have been forced to leave their homes due to conflicts, war, or natural disasters. 1/2

URGENT NEED
We're expecting around 50 more people to be freed this weekend! But we don't have the funds we need to support them. Donate to EFF so that we can make sure that people get back to their loved ones! ➡️ Venmo: @ Etowah-FreedomFund OR https://t.co/nL7rT2te5V
Thank you to the Etowah Freed Fund for all their great work! And we’re so glad to see some ALIRP volunteers helping out. If you’re interested in donating to support the Etowah Freedom fund, their PayPal/venmo/patreon information can be found in this thread!
We just had another week of massive releases from the Etowah County Detention Center! We expect this to be the new normal. Thanks again to the volunteers that made sure that everyone that was released got a warm welcome and safe travels home.
Advocacy Action: Write a letter with @WelcomeWDignity to urge @POTUS to uphold his campaign promises and protest asylum seekers at the border! https://t.co/X0xPuuZA0E
