The season finale of @StuartFails left me nostalgic proud & maybe a little verklempt. Seeing the atom, Stage 25, & @marksweettweet reminded me of friends & fun of visiting WB to watch TBBT. Congratulations @KevinSussman , #johnrossbowie , #brianposehn , #laurenlapkus for S2!

@PaulYoungParlez One of my absolute favorites! 😎 I played it so much as a teen, my cassette snapped. Now I have several different versions of the CD so I'll never be without in case something happens 😄

@AntCacc14 @Chicago_History I literally said "Turnstyle" when I saw the question. Ironically the Schaumburg turnstile turned into Venture if I recall. I remember the shoe gazebo was trippy as hell 😄
There was a Robert Hall Village too, I don't quite remember, but my mom was bummed when it closed.

[Lisa GenXfangirl @ala005]

@KevinSussman Oooooh that looks good!

[Lisa GenXfangirl @ala005]

@Chicago_History Concert? I graduated there 😄
But I did see New Order there

Geeez @united what is up with flight 2160? Delayed because a flight was late, delayed because of a gate issue, delayed because of weather, now everyone is off the plane because the flight attendant didn't show up? These delays have added up to four hours and counting. 😵‍💫

Some of you have forgotten that only three years ago you were perfectly capable of writing an essay, writing a eulogy, telling a bedtime story to a child, and it should worry you that powerful companies have convinced us we can’t do things we’ve been doing for 5,000 years.

[Chicago History ™️ @Chicago_History]

This Afternoon, Chicago lost a real hometown legend.

Pete Kastanes of #VanishedChicagoland sadly passed away.

Pete was the essence of Chicago. His ultimate goal was to share Chicago History with our City & Chicagoans around the World.

Pete's Vanished Chicagoland Group on Facebook and across social media was definitely a huge influence for us, in doing what we do daily.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Pete's Family and Friends.

We hope to do our best to keep Pete's legacy remembered for lifetimes.

Pete Kastanes was, is, and will forever be #ChicagoHistory.
