If you need to break the law and tradition to put Trump on a coin to have some enthusiasm for the 250th anniversary of the founding, I question your patriotism. Trump’s ego and his lickspittles’ desire to feed it, should have nothing to do with commemorating the founding.
Why is Kash Patel claiming there are no videos on children being sexually assaulted on Epstein's Island, days after Pam Bondi told us that the FBI had thousands of hours of videos of children being sexually assaulted by Epstein and his clients?
You are completely wrong, Daniel. Federal revenue is a function of nominal, not real, GDP. The CBO baseline already assumes nominal GDP growth equal to that of the last 18 years and is at full employment continuously for the next 10 years. Any supply side effect---more labor hours, more investment----will help reduce costs and inflationary pressures, thereby causing the mix of nominal GDP to be comprised of more real growth and less inflation. But revenue would be essentially the same as the CBO assumptions generate.
The only way to reduce the massive $26 trillion of new debt over the next 10 years that is built into the OBBBA with the tax cut extension is to slash military spending, domestic pork barrels and enact sweeping entitlement reforms. That's the hard way to do it, but also the only way. You so-called supply-side conservatives should stop---after being wrong for 40 years---telling GOP politicians that they can grow their way out and don't have to cut Social Security, Medicare, Veterans, SSI and numerous lesser entitlements that get a hall pass in the OBBBA. That's a flat-out lie just as bad as any nonsense we get from the Keynesians.
