Word is, if you're behind Cloudflare, some WAF rules can mitigate the issue for now

[The Samuel of Alakowe Technology @alakowetech]

The worst bug a software can have is Remote Code Execution (RCE), and PHP just caught one 😬

There is no official fix yet, and it's already being exploited in the wild.

If you're running WordPress or any PHP-based CMS... brace for impact 😂😂😂

[Ìlérí⚡️ @pipe_dev]

Companies running legacy php in this country, won't see that php vulnerability o.

[Mike Kipruto @itsMikeKipruto]

Cloudflare has deployed emergency WAF rules for two critical PHP vulnerabilities: CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619, both reportedly rated CVSS 9.2.

The risks affect WordPress, Laravel and other PHP-powered applications.

If your site is behind Cloudflare, there’s an extra layer of protection. Cloudflare says its initial rules are available to Free-plan customers too, as early attacks emerge.

But don’t treat that as a fix:
• Verify your traffic passes through Cloudflare.
• Check your PHP version and hosting provider’s patch status.
• Update PHP as soon as the official security fixes are available.
WAF rules are a stopgap, not a substitute for patching.

Remote workers, I hate to admit this, but I think reality is beginning to set in.

Remote job opportunities have reduced, and if we don't prepare for what's coming, a lot of us will struggle financially.

Let's be honest. Many of the opportunities available today are freelance gigs. Some last months, some last a few years, but not all of them offer long-term security.

That's why diversifying your income is more important now than ever.

If you're a remote worker who spends money anyhow because you believe another job will always come, please wake up.

Your current income is not guaranteed to last. Build other income streams while you still have the money to do so.

Unemployment will humble you.

You will be an experienced software engineer and still end up taking a customer service job just because you don't want to be called lazy or someone who has nothing doing.

Scary, man.
